I watched 'The Talk Show' over the weekend, and was really impressed and pleased. I hope it becomes a tradition. I didnt bother watching the WWDC keynote tho.

IMHO... Phil&Craig are the face of the Mac now. I remember Phil doing the hardware reveals back in the early 2000s and he does a great job of it, and Craig as of late has been doing a great job with showcasing macOS.

As a duet, i think they can represent the Mac on stage very well. Kudos to them.

Cheers
(It's nice being able to say something positive about Apple's presentations with regard to the Mac for a change)

only hope iPad Pro may have Terminal at some point... that's gonna be a real pro

There are plenty of SSH clients -- like Panic's Prompt 2. Is that why you want Terminal? If you want to do something locally on the iPad, what useful thing do you want to do? Is there something you want in Terminal that you can't do in an App?

You reminded me of a strange bit of trivia. About 8-10 years ago, Apple did not include Terminal on the Macs in their stores. I found this annoying and would put the app on one of my websites and download it to their computers. IDK if any store employees found it alarming to see that the Terminal.app had gotten installed on machines. That strangeness disappeared a long time ago; Terminal is available on all store Macs.

John Gruber not asking anything of interest ... as one would have guessed. Would have been a good time to ask about the future of products not upgraded, nor removed, like Mac mini & AirPort. Questions about the high prices for keyboards now that Apple dumped the more reliable usb keyboards; not really offering any computers for school apart from a still somewhat expensive MacBook Air; etc.

Yeah what a dummy for not asking questions he would have got non answers for.

Phil & Craig are probably Apple's best execs. Craig has done a fantastic job with the OSes taking over after Forstal left. While Phil has done excellent work putting the App Store back on track after years of neglect by Eddie Cue. Eddie Cue who I would say is the weakest link.

It's funny. Have you ever done that?? Because I can't do it and I doubt that you can do it either...
Maybe I was checking on the wrong partition. Works on High Sierra.
