Since the link bracelet takes 9 hours to make (or, so we've heard), I guess it makes sense that we are all still waiting. But hey - I'm happy to wait. I'm sure we'll all be extremely happy when our watches get here.

I just chatted Apple to confirm my order time. Which was completely in line with what I though and my order confirmation. These stories of times that are way different worried me. Here comes the funny part.
I asked the rep if he/she knew if any of this model shipped. The response I got was comical. He told me that it was the most pre-ordered model. Seems weird that this thread is so small if it was the most pre-ordered model.

Yeah. They also told people phones would be delivered via multiple couriers. Take anything they say like that and quickly forget it. Honestly we probably know more than they do.
The number of people in this thread has to be minuscule compared to the hundreds of thousands that likely ordered the link band.
Not just this thread but any threads/posts on any websites. Not single soul other than celebrities and those who got review units.

Crafted from the same 316L stainless steel alloy as the case, the Link Bracelet has more than 100 components. The machining process is so precise, it takes nearly nine hours to cut the links for a single band. In part thats because they arent simply a uniform size, but subtly increase in width as they approach the case. Once assembled, the links are brushed by hand to ensure that the texture follows the contours of the design. The custom butterfly closure folds neatly within the bracelet. And several links feature a simple release button, so you can add and remove links without any special tools. Available in stainless steel and space black stainless steel.

True, but I've yet to find any evidence anywhere on the Internet of anyone getting one from pre-ordering. Of course we also have the fact that all of these link watches were 4-6 week shipping from the get go.
I expect you are both absolutely correct. It will be interesting to see if Apple ever discloses how many of each model Watch they have sold.

Just thought I would also reply with my details.
Ordered straight away at 5:03pm Sydney time on the 10th.
Shipping for the 42mm Space Black with Black Link was 4-6 weeks (12/5 - 25/5) straight away. I had my heart set on it, so I went with it.
$1 pre auth came out for a week and then fell off.
I feel much like everyone else in this forum, kind of robbed. It's like we are being punished because we bought a premium model, and everyone else gets their 'cheap' sports model on day one - This launch left a really sour taste in my mouth, so to speak. Here's hoping we get some changes in the next few days to our watches!
I blame Beyonce and Karl Lagerfeld for the delay!!

Shipping for the 42mm Space Black with Black Link was 4-6 weeks (12/5 - 25/5) straight away. I had my heart set on it, so I went with it.

Well I didn't buy a cheap model but I'm glad I chose the milanese. its really nice and it came the 24th. I do like the link tho and may get it down the road.
If you guys got a April 24th - May 8th date I'm sure Apple will make it happen
That's the thing though, anyone who ordered a SS Link got a 5/13-5/27 date out the door :-/ it was delayed from minute 1.
I didn't, just when. I'm in the mid-atlantic though, I don't think there are any boutique stores anywhere near me.
Just wanted to say, I was looking in my orders page at the watch details, and like the weird person I am, I clicked on the cancel order button just for giggles and it said that i couldn't cancel the order! progress? I think so. I have so little...
What was your order time? I can still cancel mine and I got my conf at 3:02:33
