expecting to be charged sunday or monday for a wednesday or thursday delivery. seems logical to me

Sure, you start adding the additional machining, etc, it could add up, but just to cut the pieces??

9 hours machine time just means from the first piece of material fed into the assembly line, it takes 9 hours for the first band to arrive - since its assembly line, assumed raw materials are fed constantly and no bottle neck, bands are churned out every second after the initial 9 hours and multiply that by multiple line simultaneously.

Once it is set up and no hiccup, it can be scaled up or down based on how many lines are set up for the band (or Apple's forecast of sustainable demand to ensure no idle capacity and wasted capital)

Haha I figured as much seeing how this whole thing goes I'm sticking to it no BS in this post I have no way to prove it cause it's not like my dad asked the guy to take a snapshot of his delivery time for this post to get you guys to believe it, I'm not lying in all seriousness and if you choose to not believe me that's up to you guys in the long haul, I'm just stating what he told me cause he knows I have the same configuration and wanted me to know and I wanted to pass this on to you guys to bring some hope to getting ours sooner cause it is possible as I've stated with him getting his earlier than July estimated but again if you don't believe me that's fine just know I'm not pulling any crap here.

You may not be lying about what he told you, but you simply do not know if your dad actually saw the link bracelet or he confused it with a different model.

Because there is no chance your dad is just teasing you at all right? Well if it gives you hope I was talking to my mailman today. He said his cousins barber was on an airplane. On that same plane was a man in the 8th row that he saw that had an iphone. He took that iphone when the man got up to go to the bathroom and quickly got his thumbprint on it without him knowing to unlock the phone. He then called the mans wife. The wife answered and told him about a cashier at McDonalds she was talking to. That cashiers third cousin four times removed had an edition sent to him instead of the SS link watch. Heres to hoping we all get that same mistake!

That would be a false statement. My wife's SS 38" was charged on monday 1:30 am and I had it on my hand by tuesday afternoon. So Apple is such a large company that they would make UPS or Fedex dance at their pace. If anybody gets it on wednesnday they can be easily charged monday morning, again a window is a window maybe none of us gets it the 13, so what? you are still "in" the widow. So I'll start complaining May 28.
 
I got an email from Apple this morning that says my watch will ship in 2 to 3 weeks. Ordered the 42mm SS with Link band just after midnight on the 10th.

What are you talking about? 2 weeks is the 21 and 3 weeks would be the 28 right at the end of the window initially given. STOP THE DRAMA.

Not complaining, lol. Just wanted to get some other input besides mine. Thanks for the info though! I've only had experience with my gf's Apple watch. That one was delivered on the 24th and she got charged on the 20th. I wasn't aware they could have such a fast turn around. Hers was also a 38mm SS Classic Buckle

That's why I have the EOD in quotes, as I'm making fun of people calling it a death sentence just because they won't receive it on launch day as opposed to within the window given at the time of preorder ;)
