Do people with only Link Bracelet orders, mind starting their own thread ? Please don't cause more confusion and some pissed folks here .. !! we are happy for you that you are getting your orders but you are causing more confusion than anything .. !!

To be fair, most people have been clear in stating whether their orders are link bracelet watches or link bracelets ordered separately so confusion should be minimal.

whatever .. ! let's not encourage something that belongs somewhere else !!

Not everyone shares your opinion. I, for one, have quite enjoyed seeing pictures of link bracelet only orders and it's helpful to hear updates on their status, as they're most likely indicative of how soon we'll recieve our link bracelet watches.

There are also lots of band threads in the Accessories subforum, with a sticky thread just for add-on bands. We've been talking there about our extra band orders for a while. :)

Oh, it pains me to say this - just kidding... :D I agree with JayLenochiniMac. Hearing updates on the link bracelets does seem to give us an indication of what might be happening with the progress of our watches with link bracelets.

While the folks with link bracelet questions may get more information on the accessory thread, I don't mind some feedback from them here.

Not everyone shares yours. Last time I checked, the title of this thread is Watch with Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Orders. It's the only thread on this board dedicated to Watch with Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Orders. Why is it so hard for you people to start a thread entitled Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Orders, so that the people interested in the status of their Watch with Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Orders, can check this thread entitled Watch with Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Orders without reading a bunch of irrelevant information?

I agree with Blackbird. It is also good to some of the questions and answers, as we may have some of the same questions once we do get our watches. Just my $.02

I get the point .. you need something to keep you entertained while you are waiting for your orders .. ! well if that's the case .. those sharing the link bracelet only orders .. please leave a URL for them to follow you to the correct thread .. duh !

I must admit I am trying REAL hard not to turn negative but I am greatly saddened that there was NO movement on our watches this week.

Hold on for a week or so... !! then we'll have all the reason to be or not to be !! I'm pretty sure there will be debate about they said May 13 .. no they said May 27 ..

I saw that Apple had stated that about %55 of :apple:Watches had been delivered in advance of the stated shipping windows. That means, of course, that %45 of the watches have been delivered within the windows (assuming none were late). Apple didn't randomly pick these windows, they picked windows that would, by their best estimates, allow all deliveries to be on time and some to be ahead of time.

That seems to be exactly what is happening. Our window is almost upon us. I don't really have any hopes for an early delivery at this point, but I'm hoping that they will be delivered at the beginning of the window, not at the end.

However, since we've always been at the end-of-the-line, we will probably be the first group to have their delivery dates missed. I think we should all resign ourselves to accepting this. Then we'll all be ecstatic when they are delivered on time!

From someone with a 42ss with BSB order and a separate link band...

The watch comes with the band attached. Bands getting shipped tell you that they have also been sent for final assembly and packaging. This is actually helpful news whether you want to hear it or not.

I tried to attach a packaging photo for someone that asked and can confirm there are 12 removable links (6 on each side) of the 42mm bracelet.

I'm not sure what you mean by this..can you please elaborate?

I have seen far too many posts in here with people complaining about link band only posts. If those complaining recognized that their orders involved assembly before shipping and the bands did not they would know that their shipping could begin within a day or two of the bands going out.

So much angst.

Enjoy the next week (hopefully less) dissecting delivery dates, cargo planes, credit card charges, moon phases and bowel movements for possible signs of the 2nd coming of Steve.

You will be happy once it arrives. Until then, try not to give yourself a stroke. Is this something really worth being so passionately against? There are probably better ways to focus that energy:)

Thanks. That was helpful. I just wasn't sure what you meant.

So much negativity.....

Let's all keep in mind that we are in so much angst about something so insignificant when you really think about it. We are "upset" about not getting a toy that cost a lot of money. We are not talking about not being able to pay our rent/mortgage, buying food to feed our families, making a choice to buy medication or pay for vital expenses. We are talking about not getting something we want and not need. Let's be grateful that we have such 1st world problems as not getting our $1K toy in the timeframe we want instead of the timeframe that was given when we ordered.

I want the watch as much as everyone else, but when you put it in perspective as I have above, the waiting becomes pretty easy.

Now, how about some of those plane reports, they always make me sleep better.

Something interesting re: link bands. They're shipping from China. Totally different than all my watches. Some of those link bands have been stuck in customs, even.

I wonder where the SS w/link band orders will ship from?

Doesn't Foxcon (or whomever is making the watch) also have a mainland factory? Wonder if they are being made in two different places. Links and SS (some maybe not all) on the mainland?
