Just got the link band today to go with my watch. Must say that it is one of the best made link bands I have ever owned. I do own some good watches so something to compare it against.

Nice box too!

(Sorry for the hairy arm!)

Also no hair pulling!

That's one hell of a nice looking watch. Glad to see it's as nice in the wild as it does in the pics. Can't wait. Thx for posting.

Any chance we could get you to measure the last few links before the clasp? (see if they're the same width or if they taper)? That way we can find out if those links could be interchangeable with others.

Thank you for sharing! As a fellow bro-with-hairy-arm, I'm glad to hear this! Dawned on me late last night that it might pull hair! Very relieved.

Also, looks great congrats!

Isn't it already confirmed that all the removable links are a fixed width? There's a youtube of an employee removing all the links, mixing them up, then putting them back on randomly (indicating that they're all the same width).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the links taper as it gets to the clasp? Does it straighten out closer to the clasp, allowing for people to get other links from other users or maybe buying them direct from apple?

Recieved mine today as well. Each side has 6 removable links. They appear to all be the same size.

I tried removing 1 from each side, but it was just slightly too snug. So I just removed one from one side and it's slightly too loose. Good news is, even slightly loose it doesn't appear to affect the wrist sensor as I haven't needed to type in my passcode since I put it on.

Wow, That looks really great! Can't wait to get my watch now. June never felt so far :(

Yes no problem!

All of the links are the same. I can swop them around and the actual clip mechanism on each one is a work of engineering art. I've got medium side wrists and I removed 5 links. Fit perfect and has made a big difference over the effort needed to push the digital crown!

Hope this helps anyone who's interested!

Received my link band today, had to remove 4 links (very easy to do), and it fits great!

So I have this forum open on my phone refreshing every few minutes to see if anybody else has any news. I'm refreshing Apple's website and my Credit Union's website keeping an eye out for any charges or changes. I guess since we are now actually 4 weeks out from the original order date for many of us I'm really feeling like we will be getting some news soon.

What does the packaging look like?

Ok, for the price the case should be gold plated! But I think it must look like the Sport boxes? Anyway it is better than the usual 'frustration free' packaging!

Question for you all who wear watches often, this is the first real nice watch I have ever owned. I just got my link bracelet today and would like to hear from you guys how I should maintain it. What is the proper way to clean it, stuff like that?

So, will the bands all come in the same boxes?
Like my extra black sports band, I'd like to use that box to store my Link band when I'm not wearing it.

Can anyone try/confirm?

LOL - believe it not your hairy arms make the watch look all that much more beautiful - cheers! :)

Do you guys need to get your own thread together?.... :) just kidding.

Had nearly a day of wearing the link band and not a single hair has been pulled from my wrist! When I first got my Breitling it was like having a bikini wax (feel for you ladies out there).

I had a timex that did the same years ago. Always made your arm look silly at the beach. "Why do you have that hairless band of skin on your arm??"

THANK YOU. You don't know (actually, you do) what a relief this is.

Thank you for risking your hairs first, but damn you as I have no watch! :D
