I have it there too. 😔

Like bad enough on BOTH WRISTS that I can't wear it.

I also have it on my chest, my legs, my shoulders, my abdomen.

It's been brutal
I feel for you. You are supposed to have a roll in the hay, not the poison ivy ;)

Needs a real browser, just like I had on my much lower resolution RAZR flip phone 20 years ago. Otherwise it's a toy. Also needs to be a standalone OS. No more dependence on iphone, and no more double billing by the three oligopoly phone companies. My iWatch lies in a drawer. Won't get another until they stop with the arbitrary artificial limitations.

The problem is that they can’t write code at Apple so I am actually very worried because the more they change the more they will ruin.
It’s already buggy enough with smart reply being dumb, maps not staying open during navigation, the now playing section that keeps defaulting to watch instead of stick on controlling the only device playing (HomePod) and so on.
Imagine after a major revamp what we will get..
This is sadly, a trend I've been seeing "everywhere" over the past several years.
Sloppy sloppy coding. Bloated apps.
"Beta test in the field!"
I've seen a lot of it first hand at my own companies (past and present) where the programming group is often a skeleton crew of high turnover, on a hyper compressed schedule. Everything is rushed. Minimally tested, and the attitude from the top on down now, is "put it up there and we'll OTA it later."
I wouldn't be surprised if Apple's got a foot on that same train.
Really really sucks for us customers.

It’s also comically large and quite ugly, but sure… to each their own.
I will say- not a fan of the orange, wish there were more than one color option, however—they did a stupidly good job making it not look garishly big, even on small wrists (in my opinion). my wrists are absurdly tiny, I’ve always gone with the 38/40/41mm, and when I tried one on for the first time I was like “…interesting, this doesn’t look like a boulder attached to my wrist.” think it has something to do with the flush display/the lightweight feel the titanium casing gives it.

The problem is the Apple Watch doesn't even seem to know when I stand. I can be standing for 20 minutes (long time with my condition of POTS), and the second I sit down it tells me to stand up!

After years of marching around and waving my arm around, I discovered that just hanging my arm straight down satisfies the stand requirement. Even when sitting at my desk, if I get the ten minute warning, I just dangle my hand (and maybe jiggle it a little) and a minute later I get that satisfying "You did it!".

Oooooh! Will Apple finally bring Stage Manager to the watch !!!??? Or is watchOS10 innovation just hype?

Activity reporting from the watch is very poor. The badges are useless for me and can't even find them or understand what are the challenges. Failing to motivate me to do activity.
The red color of the "move" section sometimes makes it impossible to read the report after some routines.
The stand up reminder is useless. My Polar was waaaaaay better at this basic stuff.
For exercise the watch info screens are a joke. Basically useless. Very few exercises show the HR zone or % of the Mac HR. Etc.
A little pathetic for exercise actually.
The watch faces also sometimes have ultra tiny fonts in some complications.
Need a decent GMT complication adapted to the square screen.
Need better reminders about meetings, weather alerts, traffic alerts, etc. on the watch for it to realize it’s potential. As it is is nice, but mediocre.

Just make it finally a stand-alone device...

Agreed. I'm so tired of watch apps that spin and spin if my iphone isn't within range.

Tell me again why Apple includes cellular connectivity in a Watch where 3rd party apps need to communicate with the phone? Oh yeah, I can send a text and receive a phone call. There's so much more that could be accomplished...

Not sure what improvements they can make. The watch works as is, but I welcome any kind of innovation from Apple at this point.

Could a new watchOS improve battery life substantially? Maybe in how it pings with your iPhone?

Also, please add Notes to the watch.

This. Was so annoying I just tossed it in a drawer. Zero chance I will ever get another unless it's completely divorced from iPhone.

So when you say 'elephant' you mean a minor annoyance, yeah? The Apple Watch was never designed to take over full control of your messages. It is meant for notifications and it’s a bonus that you can do basic replies on it.
I mean, it's minor if you don't get a lot of text messages. But if you can fill the watches memory in a day or so, it's becomes more than minor. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Alternatively, an option not to save to the watch would be an improvement.

Maybe you just have small wrists. I have owned many watches bigger. And looks is always in the eye of the beholder but I love it. I do think there is something wrong with the Digital Crown…it gets gummed up more than any Apple Watch I have used.

Actually surprised how often I see the ultra. It’s more popular than I guessed.

There's really 3 things I want from the watch. The first is more digital Watch Faces other than Modular. The second is more flexibility on the Rings, like changing what kind of rings you want to close (For example instead of Stand you can do Steps). The third thing (And probably unlikely) is the ability to update the watch software without taking it off.

I predict they're finally going to let you setup a new Apple Watch untethered to an iPhone, opening it up to non-iPhone users

The last Apple Watch update I did totally on the watch without using an iPhone. Apple Watch: Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Download and install. Worked perfectly.

Never heard of that. I have 2 questions.
1. Does it need to be near the iPhone? (Can you go out and leave it with no iPhone nearby)
2. Does it need to be on the charger?

I wish they would just streamline the pairing process. I restored from backup and it still required way too many inputs from me once it finally recognized pairing.
