Yeah, battery life tanked for me today.RC has been a buggy mess on my U2. Water lock wouldn't enable, graphical glitches through the roof, and horrendous battery life. Pulled the trigger and unpaired and repaired. I can happily report that its significantly better. Time will tell on battery but water lock works again.
Restored at 9am PT, then charged to full. Its 1:45~pm PT now, so almost 5 hours. Used the watch as normal, battery is at 96%. Much better then yesterday after installing the update. I unpair, repaired and restored from the backup. Took about 30 minutes, but its running significantly better.Yeah, battery life tanked for me today.

For the fist time ever, my S10 dropped to 10% while in bed (about 7:30AM.)
I put it on charge, as I didn’t want to torture the battery.
It probably would have lasted with LPM.
I hope this is just because it’s indexing.

Oh hey guys welcome to my watchOS 26 beta community!I think it is - it takes a day or two to settle down. My S10 is easily on course for 24 hours with normal use - on WatchOS 11 it was around 20. S7 not only had a battery health jump form 82% -> 86% (lol so annoying as looking forward to a replacement), but battery life is probably back to how it was a couple of years ago. I am pretty sure the increased battery life claimed on the new models is something to do with software rather than hardware.
Sounds like a wrist detection flaw. It should lock immediately if no skin contact is detected underneath your watch.SECURITY FLAW:
Wearing a BSL.
If I unlock my AW, then put it on quickly, the watch remains unlocked.
I've done this twice, in about half an hour.
Let me know if yours does, too.
What do you think about battery life?Jumped from 11.6 to 26RC and I must say double tap gesture is FAR more easily detected now. On watchOS 11 I sometimes had to do it so dramatically, I looked like a clown
I didn't notice any difference compared to 11. I wear my watch from 6:30 to 23:30 and I usually have around 35% left at the end of the day. What do you think about battery life?
It must be in US English for both language of Siri and regionHey there,
how do I set up Workout Buddy in Germany / Non-English speaking countries?
I tried to change region and language on both the iPhone (16 Pro, Apple Intelligence activated, iOS 26 RC) and the watch (series 10, watchOS 26 RC) to English, but the Workout Buddy just showed up very shortly and then disappeared again completely.
I like it too. More personalised and I have the Sam Sanchez voice for workout buddy on it.Went for a walk today and tried out Workout Buddy - have to say it made me more motivated to push myself but whether it’s a gimmick longer term…
Oh yeah I forgot about that. Workout Buddy voices also offer the British fitness+ trainers voices to download, the other one is Jamie-Ray.UK English too.
I must be going mad but I can’t see how to change the voices.Oh yeah I forgot about that. Workout Buddy voices also offer the British fitness+ trainers voices to download, the other one is Jamie-Ray.
Both the voices are from the treadmill trainers from fitness+
Voice 1 is Sam SanchezI must be going mad but I can’t see how to change the voices.
