Sure they know, Apple knows people will upgrade to an S4 for the watch faces and other features.

Yup, that why S3 and below get awful watch faces. I am not upgrading though. My S3 LTE is fine.

Anyone having issues on watch OS 5 trying to ask Siri to set a reminder? I don’t even have reminders in the Apple Watch settings app on iPhone..? I’m on the GM for iPhone and watch OS as well.

Email notifications don’t give me the option to reply or dismiss on OS 5, how am I supposed to get rid of the notification after reading?

Does anyone have advice on how to get haptic notifications working on WatchOS 5 and mail? I have tried everything including a complete reset of the watch, as well as deleting and re-adding my mail accounts on my phone. The notifications show up, but no haptic feedback.

If you have your notifications to mirror your iPhone the problem is the iPhone. Go to your notifications for mail setting and set a type of vibrate. I reported this to Apple in the early days of iOS but I guess they’re leaving it for 12.1 lol it just defaults to no vibrate for some reason.

Auto activity detection is working.
- after 5mins it detected I was running to the bus and I have two workouts 6 mins long

I will test tomorrow when I walk longer. Now we need auto detection without having to do anything and cycle tracking (like fitbit). Slowly getting there.

My brother is testing beta of watchOS2 on AWS2 and he is pretty satisfied.
GM also works nice on my AWS3, but I'm pretty upset that new watch faces are not throwing flames, water and everything to the edges of the screen.

Restart the watch. It will resolve the issue.

Hey. Are you saying the heart complication (built in Apple one) is meant to show a figure rather than the icon? Mine only ever shows the icon.

Installed GM of watchOS 5 on my AWS3 and now my awards disappeared from the Awards tab. 🙁
iPhone is also on the GM of iOS 12. Hope, they will come back somehow.

GM on S2 is working well. I intend on upgrading to the S3 42mm though due to the increase in battery life, the voice of Siri and increased performance.

No Reminders in settings too, but Siri creates them

It’s kind of perplex me why in this day and age Apple still think having a watch face with no complications is a good thing. They clearly can see from the reaction of the S4 face that people love it and it has what .. 9 complications. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to compute which should be the way to go forward.

Those articles are worthless. The world never are short of brainless media competed to be who’s the most useless about Apple. Did you read an article about iPhone XS Max being “sexist”? No wonder people rarely care for “journalism” these days.
