Anyone running WatchOS 5.1 beta? Unless I'm going crazy, the animation of the heart (when you are checking your heart rate manually) is all screwed up. Hopefully I'm not the only one seeing this.

You’re not crazy, I saw this too

Anyone else have an issue where sending a text through Siri is sending as a text message rather than an iMessage? “Send as sms” is disabled in iPhone Settings. Using a Series 4 on watchOS 5.

On my iPhone, I just flipped iMessage off then on again, and that seems to have corrected this issue.

Anyone else having huge issues with the Timelapse face? Most of them aren’t synced with the correct time—NY seems to be 12 hours off, i.e. its sunny when it should be the middle of the night—and Paris works half the time and the other half it looks like part of the screen is broken.

I haven't been having any issues with those. I might note that they do look really good on the series 4.

Anyone seeing improvements to calorie burn? 5.0 increased burns 20-30% across the board which can’t possibly be correct, even with tweaks to the formulas. I hear rumors 5.1b1 is either reduced some or all the way to 4.x levels... thanks!

This has probably been already identified, but looks like on WatchOS 5 we are not able to put Messages on some of the complications (especially the new ones on Series 4). Bummer! Have you guys seen this? Hopefully Apple enables this again.

This is my first AW, so be gentle. I read that if I forcetouch/3D touch the flashlight icon, it should make your phone's flashlight...well...flash.

When I try to forcetouch on my flashlight icon, nothing happens. Am I mistaken in what it should do?

If you force touch the phone ping button. Flash will flash.

That doesn’t work on my S4 with 5.1 beta unfortunately. I’d never even heard of the flash ‘ping’ before. Hopefully it will work in the future.

It's probably because you've been misled about the way to do it: you don't force touch the button, you touch and hold.

Straight from the user guide ( https://itunes.apple.com/book/apple-watch-user-guide/id1424771407?mt=11 ) - "Tip: In the dark? Touch and hold the Ping iPhone button and the iPhone flashes as well."

GPS is definitely more accurate and “tighter” than previously. Not sure if it’s Series 4 or watchOS 5

Huh. I uploaded two examples...it’s 10:29 pm so the NY one should show nighttime. Not sure what’s going on with Paris but it only shows up sometimes.

I've found a few bugs...can anyone else confirm?

* Restarting the watch, always resets it's volume back to max.

* Opening the heart rate app...and scrolling down it, it jumps back up one area as you scroll...Open and displays current. Wait for the heart rate to lock on. scroll down. As you move down from section to section, it will jump back up to the last section you viewed...
