Drats! Still no podcast app for Apple Watch series 1 on watchOS 5 beta 2.

Is it on the series 2?

So after my iPhone said that my update was "finished" my Series 3 LTE has been on the Apple Loading wheel now for about 45 minutes, "finishing" the update. Anyone else seeing this?
Same here after 8 hours (sleeping), I held the power button, and it asked for me if I wanted to reset the watch.
After reset and reload of backup it seems fine :)

I had this happen. It also asked me if I wanted to reset the watch. I canceled the full reset and instead did a hard reboot. The watch, surprisingly, operated normally after that. No backup restore was needed?

new shortcuts for on going calls, walkie talkie mode or now playing widget

What is the build number for WatchOS 5 beta 2? I have got it as 16R5303d.
Thank you.,

in beta 1 my gps was broken...none of the workout apps worked properly...looking forward to test it today but please update if anyone has tested the workout app already.
Thanks!

Podcasts app sync part is very limited in function. We should be given option to select individual episodes. It should mirror iPhone config, but it's really confusing. Also, Podcasts app is not listed in Apple Watch app --> General --> Usage. At least, that's in my case. Very strange. Podcasts filled storage on my AW, and I couldn't see anything in Usage.

So far it seems to be working... only the weather doesn’t show up as I ran without my phone and I have no lte version of the watch. The other issue on the map in the activity app has a dotted circle going around map but when I hit the the gps map does show up.

Anyone else have these two issues?

In beta 1 and now beta 2 I cannot set the haptic strength...even though I change it to medium or max...it keeps going back to minimum...anyone else has this issue?

I have the podcasts app on my series 1... it’s not properly syncing with what’s on my phone, but it works ok.
Thanks for verifying that. I didn’t have Podcasts installed on my test iPhone. Once I did it showed up on the watch shortly afterwards. Not properly syncing though.

Horrible update for me so far. My Apple Watch Series 2 keeps going black and its impossible to wake the screen so I have to force reboot it and then it boot-loops for almost 30 minutes before its finally working again and a few hours later I'm stuck on a black screen again and I have to repeat the process.

I like this beta! For the first time EVER in my Watch OS beta experience, I got a notification on my phone that a new version of WatchOS had downloaded and is ready to be installed. I was on my way out the door so I turned around, set the watch on it's charger, started the update and immediately pulled it off the charger and put it back on. Update finished within 5 minutes and everything is great.

I noticed the little red dot with what looked like a bar graph at the top-center and figured it was a notification that my watch update had completed but turns out it's a shortcut to choose your music source. I see from prior posts that these indicators are present for other apps as well. Pretty slick.

Same here for the map ! It's annoying the hell outta me since I can't get the map to show in my Strava activities

Didn't think about doing a reboot, just did the restore from backup :)
