I normally download the betas but always regret it. How is stable is the software now ? I am fed up of waiting fo the official release.
As ALWAYS with betas YOUR millage may vary. So far this year I (again not you) have had good performance with wOS. iOS is a little more buggy for me and Catalina has been a lot more of a PIA.

Been an AppleSeed tester for over a decade and just like last year and the year before swear this will be my last time.:D

Having an issue with my M-F Alarms on the watch after upgrading to WatchOS 6.

Two days this week my Wake Up alarm has not gone off... and two days it has worked.

I have my watch set to wake me at 5am. This morning it did not go off and I woke up at 6:35, late for work.

It was working flawlessly before. And my battery level was at 94%.
Has happened to me too, however since i rarely need to set an alarm I'm not sure when this started happening. I have a series 2.

Yesterday I set an alarm for 7AM, I woke a few minutes after 7AM but the alarm had not gone off. So last night I set an alarm for 8AM, this morning I woke at 8:02AM and again not alarm ringing, however I did at this point hear a single "ding".

So I set am alarm for 5 minutes in the future, put into "nightstand" mode and watched it. As expected as it approached the alarm time the display got brighter. However at the point the alarm should have gone off the display went blank and the watch rebooted. The "ding" I heard was the watch announcing it was booted up. Just repeated the test and the same thing happened, I can see it tried to display the stop/snooze screen for a split second but then rebooted.

I will document it with a video and submit this to Apple.

UPDATE:

Checked the developer forum and someone else had reported this 5 days ago. Appears to be a Beta 4 introduced bug.

FUTHER UPDATE:

watchOS 6 Beta 5 seems to have resolved this issue.

Does anybody know if the cellular network access in wOS 6 will be available for all external apps or again only for a handful of exquisite apps like shazam?

It is up to developers to decide whether their apps support cellular data or not. By default, data update using cellular is not supported for third party apps.
[doublepost=1564323607][/doublepost]WatchOS 6 now displays my iPhone’s entire library list, rather than songs/playlists synced to watch. Weird bug, though it does not affect listening.

Thanks. Took the plunge. So far, so good.

Performance on the series 2 is not great on this beta. Had some battery drain and even apps in the dock take a while to open. A restart of the watch has helped a bit but I'm really hoping for the next beta this week.

series 4 and my battery is at 50%... watchOS 5.x I had 75% left at this time of day.

hopefully the next beta increases battery life!

Apple pay doesn't appear to work on the beta. It advised to check the apple watch app/settings. I do, and they are fine and card activated.

Next beta then @:)

What doesn't work for you? I've used Apple Pay on the Watch OS 6 beta every day since I installed back on DB 2 (US/Series 4).
It’s a beta. WatchOS5 Apple Pay worked. Updated to Watch OS Beta 6. Apple Pay broken. Same thing happened last year and in the last beta it worked again.

I’ve had a pretty good run this year. Two years ago I had terrible battery life, and even though it’s way worse than normal at the moment it’s not terrible. Died around midnight yesterday and normally no problem to go through a day

Anyone using SIRI watchface? With the beta, oftentimes, the “card” would overlap the time. Anyone else have this issue?

Anyone receiving multiple alerts for calendar events? This started with beta 4. Also, I have seen others say their battery life hasn't been great, I have noticed that too. Hoping for Beta 5 today.

I know it's a beta. But Apple Pay works for most of us and has in every beta released. Have you tried to figure out why it is broken for you? Is there something unusual about your configuration?
