It’s frustrating, but that’s probably a touch dramatic. They’re the largest company in the world, there is obviously a lot of stuff they’re doing right.

10.x was the first time I had battery complaints with my Watch. I didn't have it with previous versions of WatchOS, including WatchOS 9 just before I upgraded. Ironically, I generally don't have problems with my iOS updates either.I've seen that referenced over and over in regards to the phone, but not the watch.
Either way, as you said, Apple has said nothing of the sort. It's all hearsay from people who don't know what they are talking about.
I agree, all software should be 100% perfect and never need any updates, ever. This company (Apple) is seriously broken, especially when it comes to software updatesIt's sad.
Just look at their recent track records going back to several years. Blindly defending them doesn't help anyone.I agree, all software should be 100% perfect and never need any updates, ever.
Of course, to achieve that, nothing would ever get released.
Glad to know it is not just me. I am on the Apple Watch 9. Also, the weather card blanks out routinely.Want the heart rate complication to work.
10.1 also broke the heart rate complication. It’s still there but is now invisible. About 1300 people in an Apple support thread reported having the same issue.
I'm not blindly defending them. I'm saying there is no world that exists where it's possible to release perfect software that never needs updates. No matter how much testing you do, there is always an edge case that exists where something goes wrong. If you want to release software as stable and perfect as possible, it's not getting released for a very long time.Just look at their recent track records going back to several years. Blindly defending them doesn't help anyone.
In the days before Apple did TV shows, they still released software that was buggy, slow, and needed updates. Is it just me that wishes Apple focused on stuff like this rather than TV shows?
My home pods (all 6 of them) started with a horrible delay in reaction to requests about 3- 4 months ago. I bet a new one will be out soon. 🙄Great release an update f up the battery to force people upgrade faster. There is a pattern here.
