I dunno. If Apple called 10.9 something like Saber Toothed Tiger, we'd all think it was pretty bad 'n rad. The only thing that'd be disappointing about it is if it didn't live up to its namesake.

Yeah? Looks like someone tried crossing out a Microsoft screensaver in white masking tape.

The X appears to use the Helvetica Neue Ultra Light font, an extremely thin variant of Helvetica and the same font as the iOS 7 banner.
So, first the "cloud" and now the "wave" ?
Seriously? Every banner and brochure is going to be over analyzed like it was some Alien hieroglyphics?
!
I think the top candidates are: Ocelot, Sabertooth, and Lynx.
Lynx I think is least likely just because it sounds too much like Linux.
Hmm...maybe Clouded Leopard too, which might make sense if Apple starts making a serious push with their iCloud services.
I wonder what the thin font mean.
Cats don't like water so maybe they are switching to fish names?I guess they finally ran out of cats.
My gut is telling me Clark Little took that photo. Love the look.
OS X Liquid
OS X Fluid
OS X Splash?
Those are my guesses.
OS X 10.9 Wave
What if they shocked us all and a completely overhauled OS X 11 was shown off on Monday?
hmmm are we certain it's 10.9. Maybe it is changing themes because this is the year of os 11.
Rumor has it that there is no iOS and OS, just X. One software for everything.
That's one of the advantages of being in the UK, it starts at 6pm our time so work doesn't get in the way![]()
