I think Apple hiddenly fixed the production of the iPhone, i read about various peoples with week 41 devices with no hissing at all, can anyone confirm it?

Just replaced my 7 Plus 256 build week 38 for a brand new 256 Plus with a build week of 41!

This replacement:
- Has zero hissing under load/restoring - it's completely silent
- Perfectly balanced screen
- No machine damaged edges all around

So anyone with the above issues have a defective device. It's nice to actually have a device that Apple intended to ship. Shame it takes a couple of production runs to get one that's perfect!

Is hissing even acknowledged by Apple?

I'd be pretty upset if they didn't! And it better be fixed by software (eventually).

Could you photo your screen? I just want to know the screen right now. I still in 14 days and wonder whether the screen is even now. Thanks

My 7+ was built Week 37, doesn't and has never hissed.

I was at the doctors office Wednesday.
I decided to borrow his stethoscope and put it in the back plate of my 7 plus to see if I hear any abnormalities in auscultation or any strange hissing sounds.
I told Siri to cough and everything in her diaphragm sounded normal and within chart levels. We have a follow up cat scan next month. I'll keep you posted :D

Did exactly the same today - Week 38 for a Week 41 - with the same result!

(Well if I was really picky I'd say the new screen is a bit yellow but 1) it's totally subjective, 2) my old one was too blue, and 3) I'm just being overly critical. :p)

I hope this is true. After returning my F2/Week 38, I am waiting for Apple to fulfill my order for a SIM-free 7 Plus.

can you guys take a photo of your screen? I wonder if the pinky or yellow tint does not exist. I am going tomorrow with my friend for his buying.... and I hesitate to have a replacement.

Here is my Week 41 256GB Jet Black Plus. I've tried to take it in light that exaggerates the imperfections. It's unedited apart from the IMEI blur.

As you can see it is yellower at the bottom, but I consider it an acceptable screen.

Week 41 Plus Jet Black 128 Verizon. Got it last night from Apple. No hiss, but def not as quiet as my 6S+

The screen is quite dim compared to the 6S+, but it's uniform and not yellow at all i.e. it's about as 'cool' as the 6S+

I'm interested in finding out the week my iPhone was made. What site did you use for this information?

Yep, as the others have said, go to sndeep.info and run your serial number as apposed to your IMEI. The IMEI doesn't seem to work in giving any worth while results whatsoever.
