Just to get an idea what most of you guys bought. Please post if you got a different one, just so viewers can manually tally up the other brands.

What's GSKILL, I keep reading about it here, but I've never heard of them.
Also, what about OWC RAM?

If you're gonna do a poll at least expand the options other than 2 name brands and "other", kinda defeats the object of trying to find out the most popular brand.

    1. Is DDR3-1600 worth it?
    2. Which brand should I choose: Samsung, Super Talent, or Kingston?
    3. What program is best for stress testing RAM?

I ordered Crucial from Newegg, but that poll is the stink. OWC, Corsair, Samsung, should have made the list of choices as well.

I recently bought 2x4GB Crucial RAM for my Mac Mini and works fine. The latest Macs are comming from Apple with Crusial RAM pre-installed, so there is no combatibility issue with this brand. Older Macs have Samsung RAM pre-installed from Apple.

I have 8gb of Crucial on the way :)

I tried to order from NewEgg but for some reason I didn't see the RAM for my computer on the site, so I started a live chat. After a frustrating session in which they said they obviously didn't carry it if I hadn't found it in my search ("Could you possibly check? My laptop is a very popular model and I would like to buy from NewEgg" "No if you didn't see it we don't have it" "But you haven't even asked what type of laptop I have?")...

...it's on the way from Amazon
