I've been having a blast with Shazam. So far it's been able to identify every song I've held it up to!!!

Shazam doesn't do Beethoven's 9th.

Wow... I'm using midomi, and its naming the songs I sing it left and right. I'm pretty damn floored. The streaming audio previews of the song are AWESOME. I'm going to be wowing quite a few people with this app.

I just sang an obscure song, and even though it didn't get it... funnily, its amazing how similar the songs it guessed sound to it. The best part was clicking through and listening to how everyone else sang it. I was laughing my head off.

midomi is chain crashing on me.

removed it, downloaded again, reinstalled. Same thing.

EDIT: restarted the phone, seems to work now. Of course I'm not sure that anything that encourages me to sing is a good thing.

Removing apps..

Ok so I know this might sound like a dumb question, but as I sit here downloading all these apps on my iPhone, two things occur to me:

1. How do I delete apps?
2. Do these apps effect the available space the way other media such as a song or a video do?

This is just a guess on my part but it would make sense to delete the apps from iTunes (under applications) then sync.

You delete the apps as you would with the webclips. Press and hold an icon. Wait for the icons to jiggle. Then tap the cross on an app you want to delete. I have no idea where they get installed to. Probably on the same partition as the music and videos.

I have used ReQall to send messages to my phone in the past so I immediately downloaded the Iphone version of this app but the app seems to be sorely lacking. Mainly I cannot figure a way to add due dates and send reminders for my tasks. Am I missing something here? I have to go back to my web account, find the task, and add a due date in there. Am I just not seeing the due date feature or was this app rushed out for opening day and this feature will added later?

Wow, many of you guys do spend a lot of money on apps. How much have some of you guys spent on just apps alone? I've been browsing the app store and I've been downloading free ones only and haven't really bought anything yet.
