Bite SMS is currently on sale for $6.74 for Christmas. I don't use personally the app but happen to see the sale price.

Sigh. They aren't running in the background unless they're a music or GPS app or are finishing a task (ie. uploading a picture). Otherwise they save their state and quit. Let iOS handle multitasking like is should. It's pretty freaking good at it.

I will say it's a great tweak though. Being able to drag them off is the way it ought to work. Makes it feel a lot like OS X's dock. All it needs is the little poof animation.

I use the RemoveBG sbsettings toggle. I've been playing Infinity Blade, which is very graphic-intensive, on my iPhone 4 and removing all backgrounded apps does make a difference and eliminates the game-lag.

People should try parralax. It's an app that mimics the android background. where as you scroll through pages, the background shifts alittle at a time so now you can use widescreen wallpapers!! I love it.

For Google Voice users:

Phone GV Extension - $1.99
-This allows you to use Google Voice through the native Phone app.

SMS GV Extension - $1.99
-This allows you to use send or receive SMS through the native SMS app. Pretty much threads your carrier SMS and GV SMS in one app. Or use GV SMS exclusively and have free SMS. Only downside is there is no MMS.

Browser changer - enables default browser of atomic or other

Fullforce - make iPhone apps iPad compatible - some crash or don't work, solid gold for the ones it works with though.

FakeClockUp repo: http://hitoriblog.com/apt/

XBMC on iPhone/iPad - repo http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/ios/
http://xbmc.org/theuni/2011/01/20/you-asked-for-it-xbmc-for-appletv2-ipad-iphone4/

antid0te - security package, haven't looked into it myself yet

PrivaCy - global usage tracking opt out

Fast copy - makes copy paste menus faster, FakeClockUP replaced this on my phone.

Quickscroll 2 adds a scrolling bar on the right side so you can scroll pages faster. It's like the scroll bar on computers.

I've had Quickscroll 2 for a while and it's works well, except when trying to scroll through the camera roll. Is it just me or does everyone have that issue?

Also, when I go to it's settings and choose "Disable For", it crashes.

I love haptic pro!

I originally came from a blackberry so anything to improve the feel of the iPhone keyboard is a great plus for me.

Definitely my most used tweak!

Works amazing on iPhone 4 as you can adjust the feel works good but less great on iPhone 3G

+1, Haptic Pro is awesome!

just curious about this, i've never used google voice before. If I were to port my number over to google voice, and disable messaging via my ATT account could I just use 100% messaging through google voice service? Aren't the rate plans free via google voice, so i'd essentially be saving $20 a month? or am I missing something? Does it work on both wifi and 3G?

thanks!

and yes it works on wifi ,3g & edge

I also use "quickreply SMS" to reply from anywhere to a text

It doesn't crash for me. Some people have bad luck with certain things.

So if a person wanted to text me, would they use a different phone number or the same one they'd use to call me on?

Different.

Google will give you a brand new number. Porting your number in is experimental and not open to the public, yet.

ajax, I'll let others be the judge on both your very incoherent questions

I've downloaded QuickScroll 2, and there's a few tweaks I'd like to do to it, like removing it from the homescreen, SBSettings, multitasking bar, etc. When I go to quickscroll 2 in settings, and choose "Disable for..." the app
immediately crashes. I've tried multiple times, restarts, looked it up
online with no luck.

Anyone encounter this problem as well? Do you have a fix? I've emailed the developer.

On 4.2.1

Fantastic lists!
Bring more! :D

Edit:
I'm especially interested on music streaming, or generally music/ipod related apps. If you know any, please let me know.
