Not spam at all but good try, just thought people might wanna use it who aren't as good with putting a theme together ( like myself )

Dont know if Color Keyboard is mentioned but a few warnings...
1. It killed ShowCase for me.
2. Themes for it suck and the ones that are decent make the background around the keys transparent.
3. Backgrounds which fix the transparent issue are pretty stupid and only like 2 work.
4. Backgrounds do not work in landscape mode.

GridTab problems - Many times pages are blank so you have no idea what is on them until you go to one, still only allowed 8 tabs open for me.

CleverPin problems - Doesnt seem to classify Pandora as music because it let the phone pin lock...

Just learned about Bigify yesterday when I decided I wanted to rotate my icons, nice app for this and resizing icons and also setting the transparency.

what app

what is the app that auto puts the red dash or black X on the apps tht are multitasking so you can either switch to them or autodelete them without having to hold the app down

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8H7 Safari/6533.18.5)

I thought iTunes saves this data?

So did I. It does (most of the time), but I want to make sure my savedata is absolutely safe and reachable (by me). There is apparently some way to "reach" the savedata iTunes saves on a Mac, but not on a PC. So, I need a good, reliable back-up app that will save that stuff. I recently purchased iBye, which seems to do this excellently. You can save all your backup to Dropbox, which is really useful.

So I'm alright for now :)

On topic - Colo(u)r Keyboard is a pretty app. I've had no problems with it and it's a good price for a cosmetic app (around £1.25 I think I paid on PayPal) - the new update downloads with something like 10 themes to play around with. I like the airbrushed Mac Book one at the moment.

AppInfo - Very useful, free app. It tells you everything you need to know about any app (Cydia or App Store) installed on your device. This is especially useful for themers, as the Bundle method needs the Bundle ID, which this app tells you.

SwitcherMod, If you install Remove Recents it also installs SwitcherMod which is the way I went. Very useful because I hated having to hold icons down all the time.

Not sure if anyone mentioned DataDeposit. It can save game data via dropbox and resore in on another iOS device. I just transferred my game data from my Ascendancy game from iPad to the iPhone. I always wanted to do that.

as a new iphone user, this thread was very helpful. thanks for all the great suggestions.

one that i like that i didnt see listed is EnhancedTabs, it lets you open new links in a background tab instead of switching to it. that was the only thing i didnt like about safari

Safari tweak "covert"

Lets you browse the web while being private, no cookies or cache or history

This tweak is integrated in safari

Tp turn it on , hit the tab button then you will see the private button

Covert is a free tweak

Downloaded that one yesterday but it seems to not play well with xBackup. As soon as I installed DataDeposit it send me into safe mode and after rebooting xBackup would not work while DataDeposit did. Uninstalled DD and xBackup worked great.

Thank you! I've been looking for background tab option for ages. Along with covert, my safari is happy :)

Edit: spoke too soon, enhancedtabs doesn't work with covert (needs to uninstall)

I just found this tweak called Animatr. I don't know how well it works or how bad the battery may take a hit with it, but it is really cool. It adds all sort of animations to the ui:

http://dailyiphoneblog.com/2011/02/18/jailbreak-app-animatr/

The video doesn't really do it justice though, it is really cool, and is working fine so far on my iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3.3.

I couldn't find a paid source for it, the only place I found it was:

cydia.myrepospace.com/emad/

If this is a paid tweak, let me know where to get it.

Let me add:

Navigate From Maps ($1.99)- adds ability to default Maps app by adding a "Navigate to here with Navigon/TomTom" button. Must have one of the two Navigation apps for it to work. Great app since its easier for me to find something through the native Maps app then easily navigate there through Navigon.

Thank you! Just bought this!

I've read this entire thing and I don't believe anyone has mentioned this app or if it is well known.

Dreamboard - free
It's a great Theme switcher for the UI. I personally like the Endroid.

Does anybody know an app that when you get a text message and you press close instead of reading it, it still shows that you haven't read it.
