What computer (or anything else) will you be buying in 2007? Just though it would be interesting to list what people expect to buy and them come back and update the posts as they purchase stuff. Anyway here is my list:

Definitly:

Quicktime Pro Just Purchased
2Gb RAM for my MacBook Pro It is in the post to me as we type
New Logitech MX1000 Bluetooth mouse Again, in the post
Leopard

Probably:

Aperture (Getting very fed up with iPhoto and I want to start taking RAW photos)

Maybe:

Adobe CS3 (Don't know how much I need it but the student discount is so good it may be a long term investment)
iPhone (Depends how much it costs in the UK)

I'm needing a couple of things:
A MacBook Pro of some sort, I'm not happy with the current offering.
New Adobe Web Bundle, lovely Intel Mac's just aren't so lovely running things under Rosetta.
New Microsoft Office suite, the current Mac version of Excel is especially groggy - and old.
10x Leopard

Already on the way:
4 more 20" iMacs

And an iPhone, naturally!

There is one thing I plan on buying and that's the new Airport Extreme station. I really need wireless for my place at school and it'll be a good way to have access to my external hard drive wirelessly. Unless there is a significant drop in ram prices, that's all I'll get.

I would love a 4 disk NAS by apple (I have a dns-323 and it's ungodly slow in finder, too many mp3's)

Probable - almost definite, just got to persuade the mrs. :)

20" iMac when Leopard comes out. Probably a refurb.

Possible

Airport Extreme - better range sounds appealing, plus printer/hard drive support.
iPhone - if rev. b has 3G.

Oh, and a house. That will safely put me in cronic debt for the next 25+ years.

Leopard.

That's all I'm sure on at the moment.

Things I am interested in:

A digital camera (I have a great canon which I brought 4 years ago. I takes great photos and is very compact, but it is only 3MP.
Adobe CS 3. Really I want Photoshop (I have CS1, but skipped CS2 as I have an Intel Mac). I'd also like to get Fireworks and Illustrator, but it all depends on the bundles / pricing.
More RAM (512MB is adequate, but not really satisfactory on my MacBook. I don't have a spare £211 pound lying around at the moment to take it up to 2GB).

What I have purchased:

[0] An iSee case for my 1st generation Nano — £19.95
[1] 2x 1GB RAM for my MacBook — £123.94 inc. shipping

Total: £143.89

i'd like to start off with a 40" sony bravia and a surround kit as well as skyHD..

also buying a 2nd hand car to commute to new job..

trying to save for new house!! which never happens :(

doubt i'll have any money leftover, but i'd also like to see how much difference leopard will have to my everyday productivity.. and hopefully upgrade.. :)

Wow, they have a 20' display? 1920x1200 is really a bit too little for this size.

well apples 20' ACD is only 1680x1050 at the moment but I want to make the most of my Macbook and get a 1920x1200 display... I dont see why the next generation ACD's can't have such a resolution in a 20', seen as there are 17" laptops with 1920x1200 resolutions nowadays!

I guess I could get the 23" ACD but I'd kick myself if they launch a 20" with the same resolution ....

OK, I'll answer this one seriously. Nothing before April because all my income is earmarked until then, but from May onwards I'll probably get Leopard, iLife '07, and some more RAM for my PowerBook to take it to 1152MB.

Computer wise, nothing else unless something breaks. Quite happy with the setup I've got.

Apple TV (already ordered)

Macbook (if I have the money when an update hits)
Adobe CS3
Maybe an iPhone

Besides the inevitable peripherals, I think that's probably about it, but who knows what new things Apple will announce over the next 11.5 months.
