[doublepost=1542454354][/doublepost]Not bad.

Never heard it before.

Good share.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Horslips (I think the name may be a pun of sorts on cowslips) were a part of the "celtic rock" "movement" that emerged in the 70s when the different styles or traditions or interpretations became somewhat more defined, an attempt to fuse rock forms and Irish traditional music.

Some of their stuff is excellent, and at least two of their albums were inspired by (or derived from) old Irish sagas.

I absolutely lost my mind (and nearly my jaw) when I saw Nasty Savage play this song live 28 years ago.

It's still this great piece of jazzy thrash metal, (lots of air guitar right now) with some lyrics that describe Trump to a T.

Aerosmith - Amazing
Sticking with the rock-opera theme on this gloomy Monday morning. "I am not worthy"

Heck yeah... Going old school with this one... Nice!

Here is one from that time frame that, to this day is one of my favorite songs!

Morbid Angel - God of Emptiness

I still am a huge fan of Martin Van Drunen (and his now phantom bass playing. He stopped playing bass about two years after this and went to vocals only.) So glad he’s still screaming for Asphyx. Speaking of which

I was into Morbid Angel too back then.
Glad you enjoy that track.

One of the best music videos, and bass players ever. These damn cowboys haunt my dreams, yet I can't not watch this, and if I one day manage to do anything as well as Les Claypool plays the bass, I'll be a happy camper.

Yeah, Claypool is a beast on the bass.

I still get a kick out of Primus being Larry Lalonde’s gig after Possessed went belly up in the late 80s.

Agreed.

Lightning Seeds oh lucky you on the way home.

Ah, Lightning Seeds - they had some great songs.

Crikey: I remember when they came out - I had already been teaching for the best part of a decade, and some of my students introduced me to their music, which drove me to purchase an album of their greatest hits; if memory serves, one of their songs used to be played on MOTD at some stage, also.

I believe it was.
