At work, no (unless one has an office of one's own, as I had in Georgia, and, for a few months, more recently, in an unmentionable country in the Horn of Africa).

But, now, for some unknown reason, I seem to have migrated to listening to REM.

Suits my mood.
Most of us listen to headphones in the office. REM sounds like a good choice.

I've done that when I had an office of my own - currently listening to Vienna (what a wonderful song) from Ultravox.

Boston - Foreplay / Longtime
Brad Delp had an amazing voice. Too bad depression got the best of him.

Here you can listen to hear Brad's voice without the music. Just wonderful.

A male friend of mine gave me a gift of that album back in the day - when we were both undergrads.

He was intense and inarticulate in that glorious male way as he shoved the album in my direction and muttered, over mediocre coffee (the best available in our urban space in the early 80s), "here's a present, you might like it."

I still have it.

He must have really thought a lot of you, to give you the album. In some circles, that would have been perceived as a courting gesture, seeing how that was one of the most iconic albums of that decade.
[doublepost=1551137986][/doublepost]Steve Perry is another one with an iconic voice, and one that has been cemented in the walls of 70s - 80s rock. One of my favs.

Listening to a just released song from the upcoming Alan Parsons album "The Secret". Sounds like an Alan Parsons song. Not bad. Kind of a throwback to some of his older stuff. I rather like the singers voice.

Currently blasting Decksandrumsandrockandroll by Propellerheads. First time in quite a long while, and definitely the first time I learned that the opening track "Take California" was the song used in the first ever iPod TV advertisement. Neat.

My favorite track on the album, however, probably is History Repeating featuring Shirley Bassey.
