"Here Comes A Regular" - The Replacements

Great band that never reached the popularity it deserved for a variety of reasons

He recorded some brilliant - and quite lovely - tracks: Baker Street, and Right Down The Line are two of my favourites.
My favorites as well.

The order I made for the Mungo Jerry album, above, came in today. For whatever reason, the seller threw in two other albums that I didn't order. One is a Jewish holiday album, all sung in Hebrew. The other is a piano music album, below. I'm listening to the piano music right now and it's pretty nice.

Though I have no idea why they threw in these two other albums, that would otherwise be totally unrelated to Mungo Jerry and his music, except that I think they just wanted to offload them.

Well, I will always welcome - and find a home for - an album (even if off-loaded) that plays Erik Satie.

When I took a short holiday after I had finished sitting my primary degree exams, (this was in the mid 1980s) my treat to myself took the form of five LPs (strange how you remember such things): One was the James Bond themes, a second was a LP I had longed for, for years, Erik Satie (Gymnopédies, & Gnossiennes), the third was the Go-Betweens (Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express), the fourth was by Squeeze, Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti, and the fifth was Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite. A serious haul.

Jay Semko - Due South (Due South theme)
That echoing guitar and harmonica...

Oh, dear.

Ahem: Have I ever mentioned that this Daughter of Eve was more than a little partial to Paul Gross in Due South? No?

And yes, I did watch that series - certainly the first series - when it was initially released - oh - some time ago.

Anyway, excellent choice.

It's amazing how this band has evolved. A grandiose sound at times now but I love it.

@SandboxGeneral

I love me some Tool also! One of my favorite bands. I also dig your setup of the shelf above the player. Nice little touch!

Need a kick in the pants this morning... Fear Factory is what the doctor ordered!

Fear Factory - Slave Labor

Followed by another track by Fear Factory

Fear Factory - Leach Master (One of my favorites and going old school with this one)

Thanks. I never had anywhere to put the sleeves when I was listening to a record, except to pile it on top of the CD's or a speaker, or just put it away. While browsing /r/vinyl I saw a few others who put up a little shelf like that and thought it was a good idea.
