^^^^ Oh yeah... Unfortunately it was by broad daylight the next day that my BF's dad noticed the scratch marks from some shrubs that lined a popular but narrow little lane down in the park... lotta "mansplaining" ensued, most of it BS.

Anyway that track always makes me laugh now.

Blues/rock for me tonight, including some Walter Trout, Tedeschi Trucks... Half this stuff I borrowed from a neighbor before I bought my own. Everybody supposed to be home now, right? so between their house and my house cranking these tracks up doubtless some decent listening even for the wildlife.

So for the classically inclined: what are the NY Philharmonic's cellists doing while practicing social distancing (at home)? Well, they are offering us their collaborative take on the first of J.S.Bach's six cello suites, with each player taking one movement. Enjoy!

J.S. Bach’s Suite No. 1 for Unaccompanied Cello in G major, BWV 1007

1. Prelude, Nathan Vickery
2. Allemande, Principal Cello Carter Brey
3. Courante, Sumire Kudo
4. Sarabande, Alexei Yupanqui Gonzales
5. Menuets I and II, Eric Bartlett
6. Gigue, Maria Kitsopoulos
