Cool

Here is one I love - and changed my music paradigm - suggested to me by son - I was rocked when heard that riff

Thanks! Now I have some music from a new (to me) group!

And, while I was at it, found this:

A couple of beers in, once again mesmerized by, and grateful for the amazing amount of musical talent in the world. Hadn't heard of Molly Tuttle before tonight, but sure am glad I stumbled upon her music. The voice and that picking hand really are out of this world. As is the song originally by the great Townes Van Zandt.

Great breakdown of her technique if you're into that sort of thing -> Click <-

Next up, something else entirely. Got a call from a friend of mine who said I should listen to Gojira. I have in the past and am quite familiar with them, but since he so nicely asked, I'm doing it again now.

Music to work through the setups of a new laptop... Baroque seemed about right. My own music will require some pruning for a smaller local home, so that's not just getting "migrated" in totality from old to new machine. For today I just picked the 12 Corelli Op. 6 Concerti Grossi as a placeholder in the new setup. Neville Marriner conducts the Academy of St.-Martin-in-the-Fields in this recording. I like these performances and the music was perfect for the work at hand. The 2020 MBA's speakers are way nicer than the mid-2012 MBP, that's for sure. I didn't even bother putting this out to a bluetooth speaker.

Stumbled across Driving Towards the Daylight a couple of days ago. It's rare for me to like an entire album; but I pretty much like this entire album.

Lovely choice, can't beat Baroque any time of the year.

Oscar Peterson Trio, Night Train

Cool jazz is so ineffably reminiscent of night clubs, but night clubs in summer.

Just now, I am listening to "Sunny Afternoon" by The Kinks.

This is an oldie but one which could be considered a classic "golden oldie"; anyway, today - a lovely day in what has been probably the loveliest spell (from a meteorological perspective) from before Easter to Whitsun that I have lived through, seemed the right day to resurrect this song, a song I haven't listened to in an absolute age.

Yep those speakers are pretty cool 👍 and sound great 💕 - I do like my mini bose wireless blue tooth for more bass - they are like hockey pucks just toss them out and enjoy - LOL - but when you get serious - it's hard to beat a decent set of Head Phones (Bose QC35 ii) ?
