Good call on this one. Outside of The Sundays, Boyle is the only one I've heard of over the past 30 years (since The Sundays) to dare to cover this one from the Stones. Both their cover and Boyle's cover are hauntingly beautiful.

Actually, I had never even heard of Kid Rock until a few pages and posts back, and - well, I'm not American, they are not a part of my cultural or musical heritage - I had to look them up to find out who and what they were (and are) and what their music is all about.

Nevertheless, it is always good to learn something new.

Anyway, @InvertedGoldfish, I also took a quick look at - and fleeting listen to - your Tom MacDonald (ZZ Top, I can ignore; I know that I don't much care for them), - and realise that I don't much care for either the music (no melody) or lyrics; actually, I think that our tastes in music, our musical preferences, differ dramatically.

Two from the past, then:

Free Nelson Mandela - The Specials

Israelites - Desmond Dekker.

Lately, I've fallen back into podcasts, my favorite one at the moment is; Behind the Bastards by Robert Evans.

At the moment, I'm listening to the BtB podcast about Scott Adams.

I haven't focused on music, while driving, in quite some time in favor of podcasts. I mostly listed to JRE and then some of the podcasts of his frequent guest like Eric Weinstein, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Lex Fridman, Dr Rhonda Patrick and many others.

Going old school on this one. This song and this band are one of the first bands that I fell in love with, and I still love these guys. I love the album as a whole, can listen to it front to back and still do to this day. But this song in particular is the that I absolutely love. I have seen them several times and they never disappoint.

Iron Maiden - Hallowed By Thy Name
