Just ordered this one from JETech for $12.99 and free shipping. At that price it is a filler case till I find something better.

http://ijetech.com/3370/
The case just came in, here are some pics. It is a great case for $12.99 with free shipping, $12.34 if you go through their Ebay store here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/JETech-3370...h-Auto-Sleep-Wake-iPad-Pro-Case-/301914712672

The material is matted black for the cover and case, smart cover works correctly. All the holes line up perfectly and the 4 speakers are completely exposed and not behind part of the case allowing for no volume loss.

Thanks man.
Seems to do the job. The ESR case I got is basically the same, except it does cover the south speakers.
I'm crossing fingers to see when the iPad arrives, the smart function works, otherwise, I'll try and order that JETTech from AliExpress or something.

I'm personally hoping the Otterbox 9.7" Pro cases are worth it and might be able to hold the Pencil as well.

Let me know if you like the apple keyboard. The only thing I dislike about it is it's not a full case.

I really like the keyboard case and I opted to not go for a back cover - I put on a matte skin instead. Then I either just slide it in my bag or in a zippered pouch if I don't have my bag. It's totally functional for me and I like being able to just lift off the iPad when I want to use it without the keyboard. I can't be bothered with removing the iPad from a case and with the matte skin on the back, it's still scratch protected.

I just ordered a Zoogue case that should be here in the next few days. Hopefully I like it as much as the iPad 2/3 case I used a few years back. The ability to use the stand at any angle is easily its best feature. If this case is a win then the Apple Smart Cover/Silicone Case is going back.

Just got the ESR PU Leather Smart Cover Folio case: http://www.amazon.com/ESR-Leather-S...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Looks like the color I got (blue/gray) is either sold out or no longer available..weird. They have other colors and also some "oxford cloth" versions. It's a great case, highly recommend it. It fits well, has the right speaker cutouts, and the smart cover works. It comes packed well too. I was impressed for it being only $15.

Damn you.
That Oxford clothing looks amazing. It's actually the best looking case I've seen so far, from all cases since the iPad 1. If I could have waited I'd definitely grab one of those nowadays.
I compared your pictures to the regular ESR (I have the cheesy gold on my hands already, iPad should be here next Friday) and I'm almost 100% sure it will fit perfectly, hopefully the smart function does work as well.
Came in the same hard plastic case as shown in the package picture.

I’ve ordered one of these to go with my Smart Cover -

I’ve had similar cases in the past and have really liked them. They add very little weight to the iPad and are much cheaper than Apple’s Silicone Cases, although obviously not of the same quality.

I tend to avoid the clear ones as I’ve found that that they can discolour over time, but I’ve not had that problem with the tinted ones. I also prefer a textured finish to a smooth one as they don’t tend to show fingerprints and are easier to hold.

I ordered through Aliexpress for around £5, but they also sell on Amazon for around £9. Apparently the reason for the price difference is that the Amazon ones use a faster shipping service. I’ll just have to wait and see how long my one takes to arrive.

It's a shame that Belkin didn't do their "Snap Shield" for recent iPads. That was great back protection.

I just got th ESR case and am really pleased with it, the is excellen, speaker cut outs are perfect and then sleep/wake works perfectly - in fact the magnets are really strong and hold the cover firmly in place when on closed or open and against the back.

Can you post pictures?

That was one I considered ordering.
I can't be sure, but ordered one from eBay which was identical and the speaker cut outs weren't in the right places and the auto sleep/wake didn't work - guess they took a chance on production before getting an actual device.... I would recommend the ESR case though, great fit and all works

Zoogue case coming today. I will try and post pictures later tonight. If the case is as good as it was with past versions, the Apple cover/case will be going back this weekend.

Yay! Got my iPad today finally and the case I bought two days, later, specifically the cheesy gold:
http://www.amazon.com/ESR-Trifold-Magnetic-Function-Champagne/dp/B01D06IYLW
Works perfect!
Cut-outs for speakers, flash, everything.
Also smart wake/sleep function works perfect.

Asides from the eyesore of looking at a gold case (there was nothing else available right away back in March) I'm quite happy and will probably stick to this case till the last day of the new toy.

Good to know the magnets are strong. Almost all 3rd Party smart cover type cases I've used have had weak magnets. One of the reasons I've a preference to 1st Party covers.

I received the JETech case today. I am very pleased with it. The defective Moko case I've been using for a week, isn't even comparable in any way, shape, or form.
I've been using the moko case for a week and it fits perfectly. What was wrong with yours?
