Incase sleeve for 15'' MBP is absolutely great, I can throw my laptop in my backpack, in a suitcase, or anywhere else without the worry of my MBP being exposed.

Love my Vaja classic messenger 15". The only downside is the 30 day wait.:)

I am a college student, and I have a lot of books I have to carry around all the time, but I am also wanting to start taking my mbp to class with me for notes. I have a 13" inCase sleeve already, but I was wondering if it would be fine to carry it around in that in a normal bookbag, or if I should look into getting something else. I am a Bio major, so my books are generally big.

This Caselogic sleeve works like a charm. Fits perfectly, and has an extra pocket that is elastic so it can fit your charger.

I am getting a 13" MBP fairly soon and I really like this sleeve. It got great reviews on Amazon.com and CaseLogic.com, and my mind is set since a fellow MacRumors member likes it. :D

can anyone provide some feedback on which sleeve has better protection for a macbook pro. i'll mainly be using it for college so i'll be putting it in my backpack and i need one that has alot of protection incase i ever accidently drop my backpack or throw it. plus which one would provide better protection if i decide to use it without a backpack.
I've narrowed it down to Civilian Lab and WaterField Designs (sfbags) but I cant decide which one. If you guys have any other suggestions, that would be nice too (something nice looking)

I have a sleeve that the MBP goes into, then that goes into this leather bag.

it looks very red in the pic but it's not that red. it's a deep brown

kata ~ Sensitivity V

I use the Sensitivity V from Kata.
It fits my 13.3 MBP, 40D, 17-40L, 70 -200 f/4 IS, cables, etc.

When you put it on your back it doesn't even feel heavy. and it looks slim, unlike a lot of the bulky backpacks.

I have the Mattias Laptop Armor hard aluminum case (the smaller model, in black) and I love it. It was tricky to get the pads right, though. I cut one of the pads to fit between the hinge and the back, on the right side, then also put a full pad on the right side in front of the hinge. And one set of pads on the left, back, and front. Otherwise, it would have been a sub-optimal setup, really calling for the larger model to avoid the possibility of bumping into that hinge.

I have multiple bags but am currently mainly using an Incase 13" Nylon Sleeve Plus. I find it has just enough space to fit my essentials (13" MBP, tickets, headphones, keys, USB flash drive, pens, etc.) while being very light and thin:

I also have a Tom Bihn "Buzz" sling bag that I use occasionally which is nice, and feels quite high quality (mine is all black):

On business trips I like to use a Brenthaven Prolite II which is nice and has a lot of pockets. Only thing is that despite its name, its not very light (weighs like 3.5lbs empty):

Yea, I know; I buy a lot of bags (I have others not listed here)

To my "Classic" MacBook Pro in an Incase Hard Shell (17"), Absolutely...But as you can imagine it may not be as tight with some other newer non-cased computers.

Right, im wondering on a new 15 inch, if it's more snug then the incase etc.
