I agree. I think the white front makes the screen look small. I prefer the solid black front with a white back. Probably wont happen that way, though.
I will be getting a seamless black one.. After the aluminum.. I always had a black one.. get get away from it..
If I end up getting the money for it (cause there wont be any/much of a deal for those who bought the 3GS on launch-day, and I'm not upgrade-elegable until February) and there is, in fact, a white one, I might get that. I wish I got the white 3GS, too, as the finger prints on the black one really began pissing me off.
I also wanna look at both of them up close, before hand. I got the black 3GS (coming from an original iPhone), because I thought it looked more "classy" and to avoid possible hairline cracks. But once I actually got it and used it more, I thought it started looking the exact opposite with the constant prints showing. So I really would need to look at them both up close if I end up buying.

White is all about dirt, cracks , and poor taste.

had a white 3g then swapped it to red then bought a white 3gs.... i think i'm going to stick with white unless there are some other colors

I'll be getting te is the white one. My Macbook is white. My iPod 5g is white. White is traditional Apple color.
I was leaning a bit towards black, but those 3D renders make me want to go white now, amazing detail.
I've had a white iPhone since the 3G came out, and kept it white when I moved to the 3GS last year. I've enjoyed it a lot. Now though I am totally undecided. I wanted to switch to black this time but the white looks pretty clean and slick. I like both from the renders popping up. I'm undecided as usual and I'm afraid I won't be able to choose one until I see them in person.

It still is. All apple accessories are white. All power cords and power adaptors are white/gray. Macs may be silver and black, but white hasn't gone anywhere.
