Not impressed. In fact I think the Galaxy S3 looks far better.
Honestly, I think the SIII is not that bad looking of a device. Only the back, in my opinion, doesn't look as nice, but the sides and the front of the device look good.

I'm concerned about that new dock plug. I have three dock/stereo units that my iPhone/iPods sit in. The new phone won't fit in any of them and I'm not buying three more to fit the new iPhone.
Yeah, they've used the same one since the 3rd gen iPod, it's pretty amazing that they're making yet another freaking proprietary connector. If anything, they should switch to Micro-USB/MHL. At least that's an actual standard that they didn't just pull out of their @$$es.
I keep thinking what kind of adapter it would take to make that new hole fit the existing docks... Won't be pretty.

I figure Apple will come out with some extension accessory for just that.
I hope you're right! Otherwise, we're in for a world of disappointment this Fall. I personally think it's a controlled leak of the actual product just so we don't get our hopes up. Why do I think Apple is going to put forth the least amount of effort on this update? This is obviously a controlled leak. It seriously would never be this ugly. Very good strategy: 'leak' a prototype version of the new iPhone, which is obviously nothing like the final design, dissapointing people. When the real iPhone is launched, people will feel relieved and get a happy feeling since it's not that ugly. I'm pretty sure this is one of those early testing iPhones with iOS6 in an old case.
You're hoping that, but you're forgetting that Apple isn't infallible. This leak will probably prove to be close to what really happens, and you'll all be disappointed. This is obviously a controlled leak. It seriously would never be this ugly. Well they certainly had a reliable source...
I am surprised I do not have post in this one.![]()
My favorite ones to look back on are the members (whose usernames happen to jump out at me) who swore up & down they were going to skip the iPhone 5 b/c it was awful, horrible, lazy, etc., but now you see them posting up and down on the forums, weighing in with their thoughts on their iPhone 5's.
