I really like the f.lux idea. And I don't want to jailbreak just cuz I want things to work.

----------

I like the look of iOS 7 a lot. And when I see people with iOS 6 I am ashamed for them. And if I'm at school and I see it I will go up to these people I hae never met before and tell them to update...

Perhaps they value increased battery life, having less bugs and Safari not refreshing/crashing when they have more than a few tabs open?

A new home screen for iPad would be nice. Current blown up iPhone one just does not work on iPad.

I guess I could also say that I want a file manager, but I can already hear the angry words heading my way.

Minor feature request, but I'd love fine scrubbing from the lock screen, just like in the music app and control center. You have to keep your finger on the scrubber in the lock screen and it makes it difficult to use.

I have the same wish everytime and it will never come. :(. Access to the file system or a at least one folder of it that acts as a home folder.

Much more customizable home screen would be great. Widgets would be awesome, but then battery life would probably suck so a better battery as well.

What I really want out of iOS 8 is a multitasking system that's more like Android. I use an IRC client a lot and with the current multitasking limitations I can't leave an IRC app in the background for more than 10 minutes or lock my device because it disconnects. It has to be left open and that's really annoying because it wastes battery life.

A much, much, much better music app.

And a complete revamp for iPad. It's been years, and most of the UI objects are still the size of an iPhone. I have a home screen with so much space that could be used for other stuff.

I'd like the ability to set custom icons for apps. At least for the home screen. Many devs are not graphic designers and/or can't seem to find decent looking icons.

This would be my biggest wish.

An "extreme power saving mode" or "Ultra Power Saving" like the new HTC One (M8) and the Samsung Galaxy S5 please! :D
I think that would be a bad thing for apple to do becuase they advertise the 5s as power with out sacrificing battery life or something very close to that.

I'd like an upgraded Notification Center that lets you take action on notifications. Get rid of the Missed area, it serves no purpose. Make it so that when you swipe right to left over a notification, it presents you with actions like "Archive" for an email, mark as read for a text, or reply inline to a tweet in the notification center.

It should be a hub where you can operate out of and not have to open an app to dismiss a notification completely (badge included).

True, but isn't that how they marketed the new Haswell Macbooks yet they still promoted that Mavericks improves battery life for all computers?

Side by side multitasking is an absolute must-have for me to even consider using an iPad in any serious way.

The option to return to the UI of Ios 6. I like it, it looks professional and not like a hell spawn between Ios 6 and hello kitty.

They cannot innovate on crayon drawings and breaking things down to their most basic images than what Windows has already done, so they might as well do what no other operating system is doing... Giving us options for self expression and customization.

Something that I would not be ashamed to be seen with in public. Sorry but I don't at all like the iOS7 kindergarten look and refuse to update. My current phone may well be my last iPhone.

Agreed. It looks like a childs toy. If they do not want to give up on it, then at the least, begin innovating by allowing us the option to alter the appearance back to Ios6

I hope that with ios8 Apple will unveil their ground breaking patented technology that allows them to show freaking audio book chapters by their actual title.

A man can dream.

At least it should have some function so that apps can more easily access each others files. It is limited now because of sandboxing, but for a user it is annoying to constantly have to copy files (Open in...) between apps.

I'd REALLY appreciate arrows on the keyboard so you can move the curser without touching the screen. Android has that option in keyboard settings and it's incredibly handy.

Has anyone heard rumors of a hologram keyboard in the next gen iDevices?

Weblock

PROs: Simple, no JB required, works in every app
CONs: Only works on WiFi.

THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! Great app. Use AdBlock all the time on my Mac. :D

Yeah. That would be a great and much welcomed feature.

Well if the next iPhone is bigger maybe apple would put that in. But right now I feel that the screen is to small for it. I wouldn't use the arrows either way.

Arrows on the screen is a typical android fudge, a few people want it so it is provided.

Not useful for mist people and a true botch. If you want that sort of thing the Android is the way to go.

Please do.

Quite a few apps (Daily Notes, Notability, iThoughts and so on) already have arrow keys on the keyboard. Some even have keys to jump from word to word. When you do a lot of text editing this feature is very handy. Much better than position the cursor with your finger. So I think it is a very logical wish to have these keys standard in iOS (maybe with an option to hide them).
And maybe this is more applicable for the iPad than iPhone.

I'd rather have something like SwipeSelect, which would be just a lot more fluid
