What Do You Want to See From Apple in 2019?

A new, 12" MacBook with the power of the MacBook Air with a more serviceable battery. Black AirPods would also be nice for a change.

Lucky you. But that is anecdotal evidence at best and in worst case it's just repeating marketing phrases from the 1990s. I run an IT department at a research institute, and the statistics at my work place tell a slightly different story about the quality of Apple products and how often they have to be sent to the shop for repairs -- and in more cases than anybody at Apple would want to admit more than once to (still not) fix the very same problem.

The "superior" quality of Apple products in my experience only exists in their marketing campaigns. In the real world, they just assemble and sell the exact same parts that all other OEMs in the world use, the only two differences are the case around those parts and the operating system Apple runs on them.

At the end of all the marketing, Apple just sells designer PCs running a different proprietary operating system than the other OEMs.
Apple only makes computers? What about all the other products they make? Are you saying every other manufacture uses the same technology as Apple in every facet and it’s all about the OS?

An affordable 4K Apple TV. Start by simplifying the remote (removing the under utilized accelerometers or selling a model with no remote using phone and voice commands).
Apple has a Remote app that allows you to control the Apple TV from your iPhone. Also, I read you can do that from the iPhones control center.

The problem is not price but value.

Apple used to produce expensive but reliable and beautiful working tools.

Reliability and value, at least in the Mac, have gone down.
My Apple products have had great reliability. Do you think you’ll be a more reliable product somewhere else? If so why stay with apple?

Them admit that the removing of a phone jack was premature. A mac tower that people can work on like a pc.
Admitting something that isn’t true doesn’t make sense. And wouldn’t an Apple pc that’s like a pc make it a Windows pc which you can get now? Sounds like you want Linux on that last one.

I really like Apple products but is just seems like they are in slow motion now. I bought a Apple tv everytime they came out. They keep saying it is going to get better and be killer. But it has taking for ever and other streaming devices have zoomed right by them. Same with carPlay I bought a new car radio for my car with it and they keep saying it is going to get better but it has taken for ever. It sees so cumbersome that most of the time I don't use it. Amazon is suppose to come out with a device and I suppose it will zoom right past carPlay. It seems like they are still moving with Steve Job's ideas. They need some one with innovation as their primary goal instead of politics like the present CEO.

Less sloppy software.

For example, when I unlock my Mac with my Apple Watch, I want it to work all the time, not force me to sit there to see if it will work or if the password field pops up. This used to work reliably, but became hit-or-miss around MacOS Sierra. Or High Sierra. Or something.

Gotten so frustrating that I just shut it off because I can log in faster by immediately typing my password.

Monitor: 30-32 inch 4/5K HDR (1000+ nit) with mini LED backlight or OLED HDR Monitor. 2x HDMI 2.1 + 1x TB3/USB-C.
Mac Mini: upgrade to HDMI 2.1 add desecrate graphics (xmx?) + DP 1.4 or 2nd HDMI 2.1 port.
iPhone: USB-C, lower prices.
iPad Pro: OLED screen with HDR 600-800.
Magic Mouse: KILL

-Dark mode option almost everywhere
-A new compact LTE iPod Nano with a chance to install Apple Music or Spotify
-A reasonably priced new iPad mini
-A separate price list (+10% minimum) for every enthusiast Apple apologist that publicly makes fun of those who think some of present prices are simply too high for the product/service supplied.
-A separate warehouse line keeping all of those non-defective products (i.e. bent iPads, MacBook screens) reserved and fully priced for the enthusiasts above; open for the "mine works perfectly" crowd too

Id like to see the retina MB Air get a spec bump and more than one processor option. And a lower starting price.

I’d like to see the 12” MB and 13” non-TB Pro get spec bumps and the 3rd gen keyboard that is currently on the 2018 TB pros and the retina MB Air.

And a 100% fix for the LTE and WiFi problems that have plagued hundreds of us in this forum on our expensive XS and XS Max units.

Then my guess is that all complainers with faulty keyboards, crushed iPads, people with devices stuck at Apple logo must be wrong
Like sick people - because you don’t seem to be sick at all
Do you know all these people with issues or do you believe everything you read online ?

That is 180 degrees opposite to what a consumer wants. You don't want to buy Apple products, you want to invest in Apple as a company. Find another website.

I have the feeling that this is the right website for people like him/her

iPhone call to map iPhone's GPS location, the target 10 digit phone number, the targets country and city, and if necessary whether target is cell or land --> the target full number,
then call it.

The rules can be arbitrarily arcane; I have wasted a lot of time trying to use my iPhone in a foreign country and even more time trying to leave a callback number. It's a mess.
