Expedite the "App Notarization" efforts so that Devs may offer-up their iOS apps via their own custom App Stores.

I'm sure AAPL is working on it, they just haven't tipped their hand to the Public on it yet.

When fully implemented, Devs will be able to offer both their iOS & Mac apps both via their respective App Store, + their own custom App Store !

AAPL "may" actually be Forced to make this move soon, first by select EU countries, & ultimately ALSO by the U.S. govt.

Very surprised it hasn't gotten any attention on the net !

Automatic language translation of a phone to phone conversation. This should occur independent of voice or text input or output or brand of the other phone or service provider.

I would like to see a few things:
  • A "pro" version of iOS exclusive for iPad Pro, so it finally becomes a proper laptop replacement.
  • A new Macbook Pro with better keyboard and no touch bar.
  • An updated version of AirPods with better battery life.
  • An iPad Mini 5.
  • iPhone finally stepping out of their area of confort. Android flag ships (Galaxy note, Huawei note 20 pro, etc) have surpassed the iPhone this year.
  • An updated iMac with 2019 internals.

But, above all, Apple needs to go back to the path of invention. They are been playing a bit too safe for the last few years.

I don’t necessarily want Tim Cook gone, but I would like to see a change in his behavior. Steve always wanted the best technology in the hands of most people. Each and every new generation of iPhone brought significant improvements at already established price points. Older models were removed. With time, products also got cheaper ($2000 MBA eventually reached $999, something which would never happen under Cook).

Tim on the other hand, will use every possible chance to increase pricing. We saw it with the iPhone X, again this year with the iPhone XS Max, new iPad Pros and even MacBooks (I don’t know anyone who actually wants to pay for the stupid Touch Bar, now the only chance of getting recent processors is buying the Touch Bar model).

Everything is getting more expensive, while we have all this old tech cluttering the lineup at previous (sometimes even flagship) prices, or we get new budget models (iPhone XR) at previous flagship pricing. I know some people love their XR, but sub-1080p LCD display is not something I consider appropriate at €949. Apple under Tim Cook is really using their loyal customer base. Something which can't be good in the long run.

Here’s what I’d like to see:

• Lowered prices all across the board.

• Improved quality control.

• Redesigned iMacs! It’s been pretty much ten years! (Thinner and/or Retina doesn’t count as redesigns to me)

• New Mac Pro and a 5K display to go along with it.

  • No more fascist censorship and banishment acts and talk for people simply sharing their lawful opinions.
  • No more fascist attacks and prevention of the user and third party repair shop right to repair and OEM parts.
  • Much more stable and working software. Long broken, buggy and neglected features and apps finally addressed, such as Home Sharing Home Videos on the iPad and Apple TV from iTunes. Safari on the iPad is ughhh!
  • Allowing of iOS users to revert back to prior iOS versions since upgrading to the newest is almost always a mistake and a disaster, at least in the short term.
  • No more backhanded forcing of people to use the latest versions of the Mac OS by requiring the latest version if you also want apps such as iMessage, and others, to also be updated.
  • Better user interface design in both software and hardware. Fire Ives, or at least keep him away from the software. For examples, rounded corners on the PIP video window and constantly hiding features and capabilities. Are you freakin kidding me?!
  • Better hardware design for reliability and longevity. For example, the ridiculous MacBook keyboards that are prone to fail due to dust and dirt. No bent iPads. Fabric covered power cord on the HomePod. Dumb crap like that.
  • No notches. It's hideously crap design. So bad that you'd have to have your maturity, intelligence and sanity checked for liking it. Again likely Ive's idea.
  • Proper product updating, such as not waiting years for updates, like with the Mac mini, Mac Pro, iPad mini, etc. New iMac design already.
  • Lower prices/much better value. The new Mac mini, for example, is no longer the good value it always was. Yes for capitalism, but enough with the freakin greed and wallet raping.
  • Reentry into the Airport wireless router market.
  • There's much more but that's enough for now.
  • Much of the above, if not most, could be achieved by firing the uninspiring and embarrassing bean counter Tim Cook.

A concepts level of documentation. The current user-level explanations of e.g., iCloud, tend to be twofold: marketing level and physical click level. What's missing is a serious attempt to explain what's happening and how to carry out common use cases. What, not how. As a user I don't really care how it's done but I care very much what is done. e.g., iCloud action for deletion or race condition updates or unavailable internet.

New Airport hub with mesh networking capabilities, mesh network and HomeKit extending capabilities in @TV, HomePod, and any other non-mobile devices like iMacs.

Much larger iCloud storage, iTunes that can work with iCloud. Full quality Apple Lossless music files for purchase in iTunes.

HomeKit stability, Schlage Sense deadbolts are a great example of HomeKit failure.

First is definitely the new Mac Pro...

Next is better ecosystem. Bring back:

1. Wifi routers
2. Printers
3. Monitors
4. Smaller/cheaper Homepod that supports multiple users

I've been all-in on Apple for many years because I like the way everything works together. But: they seem to have lost site of that by discontinuing product lines that force me to go outside of Apple to complete my system.

My house is now full of Google Homes because they refuse to make a multi-user capable smart-speaker. I have a Brother printer, Sharp monitor and Netgear Orbi Wifi routers. All things that I would rather have Apple and have them work more seamlessly together... but NO... Mr. Cook doesn't seem to see the benefit in having a strong ecosystem and it's eroding the Apple brand...

My partial list (trying not to repeat any of the other many great ideas previously mentioned):
  • HomePod controlling TV, such as “pause,” “what did he/she say?,” “play ‘Wreck it Ralph’,” or even a simple “turn off living room TV.”
  • HomePod connected to multiple apple IDs and recognizing who is speaking. That way anyone in the household can use HomePod to send messages/play music and update their own play history, etc.
  • Stop limiting software features to newer devices - rather give consumers peace of mind knowing that they can buy one iPhone that they can use for up to 3 years, frustration free
  • Open Apple Watch workouts to fitness manufacturers - connectivity to more devices could yield more accurate results, better programs, and further inspire people to stay on track and achieve their goals

A watch with no health benefits at all and a XXXL sized band.

Lol! Not the “active type,” huh?

Make my iPad Pro more Pro:
  1. Cursor support (doesn’t have to be a mouse) when using my external keyboard
  2. Actual full web browser
  3. Better handling of files and folders (doesn’t have to be Finder, just better)
  4. Ability to dock and use outside of touch would be a nice add
  5. Select text using Apple Pencil
  6. Pro Apple apps please!
  7. Let running apps in the background continue to run, it’s not an iPhone! (Eg Amazon WorkSpaces app disconnects way too quickly as a result)
It’s such a shame I have all this horsepower and I can’t utilize it.

Hey you may already know this but put two fingers on the keyboard and you can move the cursor around, double tap two fingers for a selection block. Also (and this is great on the iPhone) if you hold your finger on spacebar, it becomes a cursor.

My wish though (and they are never going to do it) is a small iPhone.

Apple can wise up and combine little speakers with mesh-WiFi; the more speakers, the better the sound, the better the listening capability (shameless FBI/CIA/NSA plug?), the better the WiFi spread/connectivity.

would be nice if my homepods were also a mesh wifi system.

Their profit margins have increased, they have always offered the newest models at the same starting price as the previous year, last year they tested the waters with the X and found out people are willing to pay more so they jacked up all the prices. Take the XR, it doesn't even have an OLED and 3D touch and it costs $749. The iPad Pros are even worse, they went from $649 to $799, and as an even bigger **** you they decided to keep the 10,5" from last year for the same price as before.

Not true. Apple's profit margins have overall decreased over the last nine years. They're within industry norms, lower than Samsung's and Microsoft's.
