MacMiniPro and/or a desktop machine with Core i9 processors, 128GB+ RAM option and 1-2 PCIe with 2-4 TB3+.

This would give the Hackintosh community a compelling reason to go legit and the “lower budget” Pro’s an option to stick with macOS the right way.

  • Unified App store: let me buy Mac apps on my iPhone or like, Watch apps on my Mac. Based on my Apple ID, the store knows what hardware I have! This would also allow for cross-platform bundles.
  • Mac laptops with built-in cellular
  • a bigger (14- to 16-inch) MacBook Air (with cellular models)
  • iPad Pro with 2 USB-C ports and (maybe) headphone jack
  • more USB-C ports on iMac models: given that iMacs don’t get moved around a lot, there’s actually not much downside to making them C-only. You don’t need dongles, just get the right cables when you buy peripherals and it’s not a big deal.

Nothing. I'm done with them. Moved off iPhones to Pixels, moved off Apple TV's to Amazon Fire Sticks, and moved from Mac to Ubuntu on a PC I built myself with an AMD 3700x processor (thanks pcpartpicker.com and Linus Tech Tips for all the help and confidence, made it really cheap and easy!)

I feel so liberated, and encourage all here to try the same. It's wonderful once you've been freed of Tim Cooked's empty product line and tons of SKU's. He's an inventory guy, a bean counter...not one that made Apple great. So sad. I've had Apple products since Steve and Woz (Apple 2) days, and my kids grew up with them....still have all of them, the documentation, the boxes, the software, etc. in my basement in boxes...I guess those were the "good old days"....

New MB Air with scissor keyboard and spec bump.

Replace butterfly keyboard with scissor keyboard across the entire MB lineup.

In iPhones, Intel modems don’t seem to be performing as Qualcom ones did in terms of reliability and speed, judging by many 1000s of Macrumors forum posts and comments. So maybe ditch Intel.

#1, 2, & 3: tvOS able to stream audio to more than one Bluetooth headset. The hardware can do it, the software can do it, and at least Apple/Beats headphones can do it. So just do it. For homes with three or more people, it’s huge.

#4: 13” MBP with a scissors keyboard. Couldn’t care less whether or not there’s a touch bar, as long as there’s a physical Esc key.

#5: Continued Apple Music UI improvement.

#6: iOS 13 is relatively buggy, particularly Mail & Messages, particularly mixing in iCloud syncing. Apple needs to get back on their “It just works” game here. iOS 14 should be the iOS Snow Leopard, as it were.

you will be back. Hell, you still on this forum chirping. Everyone knows that Google software is 10x worse than Apple’s. Google gives up on products left and right. Ubuntu? Now you are 1 of 2 people in that community. Good luck.

Try FUBOTV to record and it also has quite a few channels.

An AppleTV with a built-in TV tuner and OTA DVR, integrated with iCloud.

Imagine this - you want to record something from broadcast TV. Open up an app on your AppleTV, find the show or the series, and click to record it. Then later, I could watch it on the TV, my phone or my laptop.

stop fighting right to repair both legally and with your questionable strong arming of CBP's ignorance.

use ryzen CPU's when it makes sense and stop preventing NVIDIA from making drivers.

I'm tired of being forced to HighSierra on my daily driver Macs due to CUDA support and the performance per $ of current Mac's (especially the new Mac Pro) looks to be forcing me to go back to hackintoshes full time rather than them being my secondary machines.

i don't expect any of this from Tim Cook's Apple this year or decade for that matter.

As many other people said, what I really want is the new iPhone SE to remain in the same size as the current one. That is actually my number one wish.
On the software side, either a version of Logic for iPad OS or a way to make transitioning from Garage Band to Logic Pro a bit more seamless like it is with pages or numbers. That would for sure make me invest in an iPad again.

Updated (or upgrades for) Mac Cylinder - with fresh graphics cards, Thunderbolt 3 and 10G Ethernet

I would love to see a, "We know we screwed you, so we will give you 50% of your original purchase price as a trade-in towards a new Mac Pro. You have 60 days from receipt of your Mac Pro to return your Mac Cylinder to us."

And personally? I want to see a 12-13" MacBook Pro with a real keyboard, no Touch Bar, FaceID and 4x USB-C ports.

1. An apple watch that accurately tracks exercise calories. Give us an option to override a calorie count where we know it's inaccurate.
2. The ability to add speed and incline to treadmill workouts on Apple watch.
3. Logic Pro 11 - it's about time!
4. 21.5 iMacs with decent size SSD as standard
5. User upgradeable RAM and SSD across laptops and desktops.
6. Micro SD slots on iPhone and iPad - now that they can recognise external storage there's no excuse.

I would like to see an iPad that will act as a cellular phone. Then be able to, as we are now, use the apple watch as my phone using the iPad as the primary phone at home. So to recap iPad becomes another iPhone.
HomePod configurable for Surround.

11” to 14” MBA or MBP with the new keyboard.

improved Touch Bar.

The locator devices. I’m curious to see what Apple will add to make them “innovative” as the article suggests, and not merely massaged copies of what others have been offering for years.

What I'd like to see:
  • Smaller iPhone: same form factor as the iPhone SE, no home button and therefore bigger screen thanks to an edge-to-edge display
  • Revamped 5K 27" iMacs or 6K 32" iMacs
  • The corresponding display sold separately
  • Bring back the MacBook 12" with all the internals of the iPad Pro and make it the first ARM-based Mac

The dream that won't come true:
  • Make dual run macOS / iPadOS on the iPad Pro possible

I totally agree with Apple: merging macOS and iOS/iPadOS is a bad idea, but running macOS on an iPad Pro with bluetooth keyboard and mouse is completely different and useful. Files.app would be the link to exchange data between both OS.

I'd love to have an iPad on my couch, in the bed, on the plane, etc. that works normally and when I set it on the desktop, connect it to the external monitor, the keyboard and the mouse I have a fully working macOS in front of me to do everything I can't otherwise.
=> Power + lightweight + no OS limitations in 1 single package ! A dream...

either a mac mini 'pro' or a mac pro 'mini'...something with punch for designer, photographer, some video work that is powerful, upgradeable (ram, pci-e, drives) and don't cost 6 grand to start...apple has all the parts, they just need a new box to put 'em in, minus the glossy screens

thank you very much...
