I don’t think I have any serious requests. Ultimately, Apples software/hardware met my expectations. I do think Siri is still behind, but it still accomplishes the tasks that I need and works great with Apple CarPlay.

Scrolling wallpaper in iOS.
Folder icon colors derived from the wallpaper, ala iOS 13.0 beta 5.
HOMEPODS THAT ACTUALLY WORK AS A STEREO PAIR AS AN OUTPUT SOURCE FOR THE APPLE TV.
The same sensor in all three cameras on the iPhone as the main one (aka, the good one).
Legitimate support for macOS for gaming.

The death of the +%*$!! Camera bump!

That’s all, I’m sure I’ll be pretty happy with the rest of their product roadmap. But if there’s one thing I’ve never liked, it’s that damn protruding camera. Or cameras as the case may be now.

A 2nd App Store that is focused on those who have NO interest in Games !

The existing App Store has a heavy slant / bias towards Game Apps !!

Why Apple didn't implement this years ago is a BIG mystery.

85% of the App Store revenue comes from Game Apps, 10% from streaming media content "sub" apps, & 5% from everything else ... it's the everything else category that needs help ... a dedicated, 2nd App Store for such apps would do wonders for Apple's bottom line, as well as the Apps that would flourish on this 2nd App Store.
Or just the ability to block and make invisible all game stuff. It's simply not interesting and is something of a nuisance.

Sorry I had to take my own comment here from previous topic as it's more appropriate here for this topic.
To apple:

1. Make base storage capacity to 128GB for all future iPhones for the sake of humanity and world peace.

2. Be easy and relaxed on some user interface features on iOS.

3. what's the point of having world's best SoC on an iPhone when it doesn't support multitasking. Make an iPhone line like Samsung Galaxy Note where Pen support,Picture in Picture, split screen etc supported.

4.iPhone is always underdog with bugs/random slowdowns in Wifi and LTE performance please make it a good experience for iPhone users.

5. Apple iPhone is becoming heavier, can't you make a cheap line with polycarbonate or something like iPhone 5c.

6. Bring back Fingerprint scanner (Biometric authentication )on front or back of the phone

7.Fast chargers included with all iPhones

8. Don't make body design which blocks wifi/LTE/5G signal and needs more power wattage supplies to modems and ultimately drain battery faster. Dare to compromise aesthetics over features and technology.

9. last but not least, innovation is important in hardware and software. Apple lacks them both so bring some real genius to work in there or remove those who are blocking the innovation in there.

All I want is a "new no problem iPhone" in 2020. I suffer from WiFi drop/ LTE drop/ call drop issues on my iPhone XS till date without any solution from apple's firmware and software updates. The fact is it's a huge flaw at hardware design itself which apple knew but refused to accept. Hope so called genius apple engineers don't make me lose another $$$$ on a garbage.

New Apple TV with A12 or 13 chip.
Less expensive SSD option on iMacs.
Wish apple would just drop the price of their desktops to make them more competitive.
Quicktime that has the same features as the old previous version.
Normal mouse with two buttons.
Better camera's on iPads.
Getting more Homekit compatibility with IOT devices for sale.
Apple branded MESH router.

Somewhat more reasonably priced memory and storage upgrade prices.

A little more emphasis on function over form for the Mac.

It seems that lots of folks on this thread aren't wild about recent Apple software quality. They're right. For example, I don't have a problem with breaking up iTunes into separate music and podcast apps. But why not make finder syncing actually work! Things show up out of order (if at all) and syncing can take hours with no indication about what's going on (if anything). I've recommissioned a 2012 Mini to run Mojave so that I can sync my iPhone 11. This is just plain silly.

And while you're at it, how about a remote for the Apple TV that's not a horror. We don't mind a few dedicated buttons. Honest! And we'd like to know if we've even picked it up the right way and not accidentally done something on the touchpad.

1. Regular updates to everything they do. Basically I want them to stop neglecting things they once made available, yet not discontinue them. And more attention to software quality.
2. Thunderbolt display based on iMac, but just a display with a dock, just like the old one used to be.
3. Small iPhone, 4" screen, yes, the SE size screen.
4. Underscreen fingerprint option for iOS devices.
5. Multi-user login on iPads
6. Improved power bricks, with cable management, light indicators and smaller.
7. Latest version of Wifi and Bluetooth on all new devices. (Really upset by lack of Wifi 6 in my 16"MBP)

- A Mac Mini at a lower entry point
- 16” MacBook Pro without the touch bar

both unrealistic but it’s what I want
Given speculation of going away from intel chips for an Axx, a cheaper Mac mini may not be so unrealistic. Someone expressed they want to see a cheaper Mac Pro. Isn’t that the current Mac mini?

I miss the new Mac mini is coming thread.

Free Macs, iPhones, and money for anyone who wants them — no limit. Free, universal and excellent health care for everyone on earth. A cure for all neurodegenerative diseases. Freedom of the press worldwide, freedom of religion worldwide, increased personal liberties worldwide.

Oh, you want ‘real’ wants? A modular Mac without any proprietary connectors inside that starts at $1000 or less — already decently equipped (i5 or equivalent AMD), 16 GB RAM (4 plus slots), and a 512 GB SSD drive. Also, nvidia (CUDA) support.

In no particular order......

1) A Mac - something more expandable than the Mac Mini, but less expensive than the Mac Pro
2) A MacBook - something with a bigger screen and more powerful processors than the Air, but without the power, cost and bells & whistles of the MacBook Pro
3) An iBook - laptop iPadOS with touchscreen, built-in trackpad, ARM processor and lower price than MacBooks.
4) Improve Catalyst so the apps for iBook can work seamlessly on Mac
5) A renewed emphasis on Homekit from the router all the way to peripherals that work with it.
6) A HomePod with a screen and lower-cost versions.
7) Improve Siri so it's no longer a laughingstock.
8) Next-gen TV with better graphics performance, a more intuitive interface, and a remote than isn't a joke.
9) " Prime" - services bundles that allow us to pick and choose what services we want from Apple that won't bleed us dry.
10) A smaller iPhone that fits in my pocket that uses the current design language and technology
11) Software that isn't buggy
12) TV+ shows that remind me of HBO in its glory years.

And my stretch pick:

13)  Camera - a DSLR using computational photography from the iPhone and Apple A-series processor combined with better sensors and lenses to give traditional camera manufacturers a run for their money with a seamless workflow to iPad and macOS.

Instead of a particular new product or feature, I would really like to see Apple improve the quality of their products, especially when it comes to software. I would also like for their SW to be more intuitive and user friendly.

Over the past 5-6 years, I have noticed a decline in quality. Apple's stuff doesn't always "just works" anymore.

It is sad.

Apple's Achilles heel is its lame predilection of releasing un-done software. iOS & MacOS definitely are their most glaring guffaws. Really leaves a bad impression of the company in general and breeds mistrust.

Easy enough problem to fix:

Don't release software to the public until it's finished

Custom mail support is my only disadvantage right now and since Apple began for services, maybe they can reconsider their business part so I can use my custom domain for mails & calendar. Have to use Office 365 because of that...

Apple is just following how Microsoft currently treats Windows 10.

I would like to see two things in 2020

1) A different approach to yearly macOS rollouts, bugs happen but Catalina has received its fair share of complaints.

2) Retina display for the Mac Mini
