Im enjoying TLOU2. Im so into zombie games. Will finish it in a couple of days and then dont know which game to go for.

Still got s big backlog (like 9/10 games). Want to finish some of those before buying new games, and I do like to wait for sales. Got TLOU2 for 26€.

Might go for Wolfenstein prequel or Horizon Zero Dawn, which I got for free (thanks Sony!).

Want to buy RE3 and Days Gone and Spiderman next, when price if really low.

Wolfenstein is a great game. Loads of guns, leveling up and intricate levels. Very similar to Doom, but just different scripts.

Also, Days Gone is another great game. Great storyline, vast open world, the customization with the motorcycle is nicely done, I personally really enjoyed the third person angle. Some parts of the game can be really challenging, almost to the point where do you have to be strategic how you approach the hordes. Overall, when Days Gone first launched, there was still quite a few glitches in the game that needed to be patched, but it’s matured nicely and it’s a great title.

Just finished Resident Evil Village on Village of Shadows mode on PS5.. The game was a complete blast and I'll replay it on an easier mode, maybe Hardcore, so I can get all the achievements and trophies I am missing..

Haven’t seen you in forever. Glad you enjoyed The Village. I’m still in the midst of it, but Capcom is amazing with what they’re able to produce with the core gameplay and graphics engine. ‘RE: Biohazard’ is another solid title if you haven’t dabbled with that one.

Current:
Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood Console Enhanced edition on PS5. Just started the new Blackwood Chapter and unlocked the new companions. Should be fun. The new console enhanced graphics are amazing, and really helps breath more life into the game.

Next:
I want to try and get back into Demon's Souls. I beat the first Boss when the game first released, but was going through some personal stuff and didn't feel like playing a souls game at the time. I needed something more casual and uplifting back then, so got back into ESO. I'm ready for a challenge again!

I plan to play D&D: Dark Alliance next week on Xbox Gamepass. Got some friends that want to play so will give it a try. My friends are on PC so hope Steam-Xbox cross play is a thing because I don't have a gaming PC.

I may also pickup Mario Golf next week since I've been getting back into real golf and the game looks fun.

FF7 Remake Intergrade looks so good on PS5. Now to break all those records that @BlankStar set!

I ordered it in the SquareEnix store so I'd get a steelbook, but they have 3 weeks shipping and didn't ship early... What a bunch of #@|#{@#, but I've already downloaded the upgrade and I am hating the fact that the completion isn't 100% anymore!

I'll probably have the 100% by the time you get your package. :(

Downloading the PS5 update to FF7 remake!

I’m picking up a used copy to get on this! The digital foundry analysis sold me. So Did the 1 second load times, wow

What a serious quality of life upgrade. I never even got close to beating the game last year either so I still have tons of content to play that’s new to me

I'm really glad other games distracted me because now I get to enjoy the rest of it with the upgrade. I've gone through two chapters since restarting and am really enjoying it. I'm definitely getting the DLC.

awesome

im wondering if I should restart hmmm

Probably, still waiting on Intergrade to arrive... Meh!

i really have mixed feelings about how they released this one

free upgrade for disc or digital customers - yes
no free upgrade or even fee upgrade path for PS Plus version - honestly I understand the reasoning its ok, but they’re missing out on money from people buying used copies that might’ve otherwise paid a fee imo. I just re-bought the game for $20 from Gamestop used (had a $5 coupon)
$69.99 price tag for white label, and a DLC code insert - weak sauce, should be $60 period. Or maybe a bit less like $50. This isn’t a PS studios title.
The confusing naming and being a nuissanice to run PS4 version, upload save, then download from PS5 version instead of just releasing a conversion tool at minimum like Animal Crossing did to transfer saves between consoles. Or just developing a conversion process built into the ps5 version to boot. Not a problem for me with great bandwidth, but cumbersome for most - weak sauce too

Overall with the first, and only $20 separate DLC purchase, I am content.

Also, is the Yuffie DLC going to be essential to diving into Part II whenever that comes out in a few years?

And lastly, locking PS4 owners out of the DLC for something that was a ‘ps4 timed exclusive’ feels like betrayal. Even though of course I am ok with PS5 exclusives as a PS5 owner. This one just feels dirty from a consumer standpoint. Also there’s the Looming PC release since there was a Steam leak of FFVII showing up in the database or something. But I dont care I dont Own a gaming PC, and I think the more people can play something the better.

Then again, re-buying Judgment completely when I Had the ps4 copy (still sealed, never got around to backlog, got at a good price) was REALLY dirty on Sega’s part. The upgrade fee was nominal once I sold that and got the PS5 one for cheap, but still… That was the dirtiest trick of all

The whole thing was very clunky, especially the transferring of save files.

and to add to confusion, PS+ version wouldnt download for me because I already inserted the data disk and it saved a small file on my external; only when I thought to look if there was remnants of the ps4 disk version on my external HD and deleted it would it let me download PS+ version again to get that save thing Sorted.

Really didnt want to wait for it to read it all off the data disk.

I left off at Chapter 8 last year before getting sidetracked with other games and life things, so I got tons of game left with the PS5 version. DIdnt feel like restarting, maybe will play the beginning sections again at a later date but didnt want the game to feel stale and I remember the plot in general just fine :) wooo

Overall I am quite happy with the ps5 upgrade of the game. Looks better, feels more fluid, and my god the load times are near non existent especially between scenes

Working around the quirks I feel I got it for a steal!

I was really worried about that because I bought the PS4 disc version but added the PS+ version to my library. I think I was fine because I didn't launch it. You're right, the load times were a shock.

I played the new DnD Dark Alliance last night thanks to GamePass. I was having fun with it. Sucks there are only 4 characters to choose from.

Only problem I had with it was once battle got started, it was too easy to lose your positioning towards the enemies and just start swinging in air. They have a lock system, but it doesn't transfer to a new enemy when your mob is killed.

I bought the First Class Edition with all the extra stuff for €300 and now have to pay extra for the DLC. That's the cherry on the top of the weak sauce cake.

On the PS 5 been playing Horizon Zero Dawn, gosh what a gorgeous game. On the switch been playing Mario + Rabbids Kindom battle.

OKay, I played a bit more of Dark Alliance.... unless they do some major upgrades to the combat, I cannot stick with it. They problem is that your guy keeps swinging the direction of when your combo started rather than turning with the camera mid swing. And when mobs swarm you on all sides, just combo swing past them is just way too easy.

It looks pretty, and fun to see the 4 main characters come life, but for me currently just cannot continue.

This review killed it for me.

Playing Mass Effect 3. Ok....I'm really starting to not like games that absolutely force you to follow a guide or else things won't happen the way they should. While playing these games I'm trying to complete them 100%. So I'm just on a mission and I pick up some intel on a couch or some weird place just laying around. A side mission suddenly is born out of thin air. Ok.....fine. I'll finish this mission and then see what this new mission is all about.

I finish the mission and I'm back on my ship and then I find out that the stuff needed to finish that side mission is back on the planet I was just on. But since I finished that mission, I can't go back. So I had to load up a previous save and replay that mission. And this side mission was just a matter of finding three data pads laying around. I only got 2 the first time. Found the third. Side mission complete. sigh

Now I realize I need to follow a guide to complete everything in ME 3. Didn't really need it as much in the first two except for making the correct choices to get the right outcome (which can also be annoying).

Rant over. Otherwise, loving the game. ME 3 is definitely the weaker of the three, imo.

Have you played them before?

I understand you are trying to 100%, but the main draw is that your actions and choices have consequences.

And now after I dropped Dark Alliance, I fired up ME: Andromeda. I know this one go panned early for bugs but I am having fun with it. I really like the movement in combat this one the best.

I'm not talking about the consequences of decisions. I'm talking about how side missions are orphaned and cannot be competed. A minor gripe really. I was more annoyed at the time when I was posting that than I am now. I'm enjoying the game overall.

ME: Andromeda turned out to be a really good game, imo. I picked it up really cheap a year after it released and they had time to fix all the bugs. Really sucks it isn't going to get a sequel. EA should have delayed the game a year and it would have been much more well received. Unfortunate.
