I'm currently playing Ghost of Tsushima again, in preparation for Ghost of Yotei and I forgot how awesome this game was... It's even better than I remember and that's something rare. Had to start a normal new game instead of new game+ because there are too many skills and stances and I forgot all about them...
And that thing is that it doesn't feel like a PS4 game at all, it's so beautiful. Man, Oct 2nd can't come fast enough to start with Yotei.

Picked up Celeste since it's on sale on the Switch eshop. I haven't played a 2D platformer in at least a decade lol. This is a ton of fun.

I have one of those wireless adapters to use a Sony controller for the switch and can definitely feel the increased latency. I prefer using the joypad for games like this so I'm searching for a controller with the symmetrical stick layout.

I picked up a used PS5 last weekend and have been going through SpiderMan 2. Fun game with the mechanics but boy is the story even dumber the other ones. It feels like they have no clue what reality is really like and have written this stuff for what they feel like supports the ideology the developers have. I really wish they would take these games and actually get writers for them to create something great rather then get some good gameplay mechanics and then stuff in a story that makes zero sense and has no basis in reality.

Marvel Universe and saying it's not realistic? Better keep away from Star Wars games then, even worse.

------------

Started with Ghost of Yotei and having a blast. Awesome graphics and cool new stuff and haven't even scratched the surface. Only played 5hrs so far.

Star Wars has the advantage of being set in a galaxy far, far away.

I picked up a 3DS a bit ago, and I'm having a good time with Radiant Historia and New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Silent Hill f has been surprisingly good.

Ryukishi07's writing fits the classic SH vibes really well, and the atmosphere is great (Yamaoka trying new stuff for the soundtrack is very welcome).

Very worth it if you like survival horror and can handle some "ero guro nonsense", as they'd have said in the Shouwa days.

I am playing assassins creed unity.

Can’t belive that it’s 10 years old. Looks utterly stunning in my pc. Crowd density is high and textures in every environment are super detailed.

So far I like it way more than modern AC games.

Bargain for the price of a coffee through the Ubisoft store :D

I have the game for playstation but got it for free with Epic at some point with their regular free game giveaways. It was ok, but a big let down considering it came after Black Flag which is probably the most fun Assassins Creed in my opinion. Those ship battles are a lot of fun!

I will vuy and play black flag after I finish unity. I have read lots of great things about it. Especially the fun of the pirate theme, ships and combat.

I just assumed anyone playing Assassins Creed games will have played that one. That is the last great AC game and in terms of which of the AC games is the most fun I would say Black Flag is it. Unity is pretty drab in comparison, which is to be expected comparing London to the Caribbean.

Unity is Paris, not London. Syndicate is set in London.
Completely forgot about that one, which says something about the game. I do have it for PS4 and if I remember correctly this one was one of the first that had more buildings you could actually go inside... might be wrong on that.

Having a blast with Ghost of Yotei. Such a beautiful game and awesome combat. Added a selfmade screenshot (not made in photo mode)

It looks really pretty.

Do you think I'm likely to enjoy it when I wasn't into Nioh 2's combat mechanics?
Souls-like systems don't really click with me, I'm more of a Ninja Gaiden/Bayonetta type of person.

I think it will. Might want to pick up the predecessor Ghost of Tsushima on a discount. The Director's Cut has been discounted to 30ish USD previously. Awesome game.
