I tried Clair Obscur last night. Used the 2 hour trial as part of my PS Plus sub.

I fully expected to love it, but I really didn't. The whole vibe, the graphic style, the music, the characters, the cringy voice acting...it just did not speak to me at all. Why are they all speaking English and cursing in French? I did enjoy the combat, it's the best implementation of turn based combat I have seen so far. But I am glad I didn't buy it. Oh well, one less time-sink for me. 🙂

Planning to try Cyberpunk next. Never played it, and the whole game is part of my PS Plus sub. 🙂

Yeah, it didn't click with me either when I tried it on Game Pass. I'm a pretty big JRPG turn-based battle person too! For me the combat wasn't great. I don't love timing based stuff in my turn based combat. It's something that's been done by the Mario RPG games too (Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi) if you like that they do it too.

It's a French developed game, and it feels very French but I guess they felt they had to make English VA for the U.S and other English markets.

Can't always click.
I only have the final boss left in Claire Obscur and doing optional stuff now and I can tell that the first couple of hours are really an intro and that "the continent" and the road to the Paintress are awesome. Absolutely love the game. Cool story with intrigue and couple of decent WTF-moments. Awesome music.

Ghost of Yotei Legends. A 26GB DLC that brings co-op (2 or 4 players) to GoY in specially designed missions. Having a blast with it together with a friend of mine. We played Ghost of Tsushima Legends together and fun to do this now with the sequel.

I have just finished Last of us part 1 on PC. Remastered off course. Played in 4k dolby atmos on my tv.

What a masterpiece. It's the monalisa of single player games. Crazy that ther game was made in 2003. Game play, story line and interactivity dont feel 20 year old.

The fact that I didn't skip a single cut scene is quite telling. An Oscar worth game.

Agreed, it’s incredible. Wish I could play it „for the first time“ again.
When people talk Playstation exclusives they always mention th game. I got curious and to my surprise it loved up to the hype. The pacing of the story, variation in mechanics and dialogues are a chefs kiss. Took me 15hours which is perfect. Not long enough for me to get bored?

Have you played Detroit Becomes Human? I finished it right before buying LOU.

First game that ever made me cry out of happiness. At the end of the story when Joel is driving away and the camera shifts to the backseat. The feeling of relief made me cry. Incredible game.
And not everyone agrees, but I really like part 2. It has some serious WTF-moments and I could really appreciate what they tried to do with the story. But it runs over you like a freight train, and loads of people didn't like that and hated the game for it.
(tried to remain spoiler free 🙂)

Finished Uncharted 2. I am 15 years late and I finally finished the quadrilogy (is that a word yet?). Amazing adventure series, a great 8 hour spectacle that I couldn't get enough of. I am really sad I played all of them (including the Vita game). All I have left is Lost Legacy, which I will probably buy soon when it goes on sale and then maybe I will finally check out the new Indy game. The trailer for it looked fantastic.

I'm still hoping each State of Play, that they'll surprise us with a teaser for a new Uncharted game... And if you like these, might want to check out the modern Tomb Raider games. Talking about these;

I played the 2013 game on PS3 back when it was new and I enjoyed it albeit I got softlocked somewhere halfway into the game. I might need to pick up the series again now that it's all out. thanks for reminding me about these

They're discounted nicely often. Check psprices.com to check if you need to wait longer or if you're getting the best deal.

Bought Tomb Raider 2013 for 3 eur on the sale, gonna start it next weekend hopefully
Last week started playing Abzu but the first time I saw the giant drop into the blue unending abyss somewhere in the first 15-20 minutes of the game I just felt ill and closed the game 😂. Gonna continue somewhere this week probably

Finished RE The Village last night. It was a fun little romp, campy for sure, looked great, and I enjoyed how the different sections emphasized different gameplay styles.

Next up: Back into Cyberpunk, which I only just started. Curious to see what the new PSSR update does, if I can actually see the difference. 😀

Those €3 are ridiculously well spent. And know that it's the first of three games and that this one considered the weakest of them. If I'd have more time to game, I'd play them again, same for Uncharted. Maybe the PS6 remake in 2030 🙂

Finished Requiem and I was playing South Of Midnight but had to get this, and it is so far one of the best games I have played in years! The way they have made Diana, the little girl, act is so cute and funny at times. Graphics are top notch, action is great. Game of the year for me. Runs great on my OG PS5.
