Made by a horrible person, so I wouldn't know :)

You too? My partner was playing through this morning, there was no problem with the sound but it kept crashing in the first snow section. Three times in the same location! I expect we'll get a patch soon.

i'll be honest this is my first play through
only in the early section i just want to absorb everything
no crashes/video problems for me just the occassional sound glitch

Mario Kart 8. It's probably the only game that I'll never get bored of. I unlocked all the characters a long time ago, and I think most if not all the karts and parts as well. So I now play online race or battle mostly. Pretty intense. The players like to play rough and defensively. But then again, I'm no different since I'm that player who would knock you off the course with my Star or Golden Mushroom if you're in my way

Confusing ....

Looks lovely, can I make sense of it? Not really at moment. It's like the Sherlock Holmes crimes & punishment game with Bastion style narrator and a heavy dose of narcotic influence.

I'm hoping it snaps together but at moment not sure ....

Hmm. Please keep me posted on that. Was planning to pick it up, but now I will wait a little...

AS they are calling it a 'Narrative experience' I expected more cohesion and narrative. The puzzles feel disjointed from each other currently. It's beautiful looking, but confusing.

So no one is playing Rocket League on PS4? If you are a PS+ member, I highly recommend picking it up before the end of the month while it is still free.

Loving the game, but it's taking away from Splatoon time. Splatton is getting (or got?) a big upgrade with more levels, weapons and higher level cap, so I will be switching back to that soon.

Oooo gossip. Please fill me in.
I've got nothing to hand, I can get it all back if you're interested. The short story is the lead dev has spoken out on certain topics (as well as harassing other developers) and it completely changes the tone of his game.

I didn't realise there was a tone playing it. To be honest it's leaving me less than impressed if I'm being honest. It actually feels like I'm playing something protentious that has a grander opinion of itself than it deserves. That it's constantly trying to tell me how clever it is and it demonstrates this by being utterly confusing, lacking a cohesive narrative.

With what you said, that makes sense.

I downloaded Rocket League, but haven't played it yet. Is it fun for single player, or strictly multiplayer?

Rocket League is a really good game but damn online is competitive...trick shots everywhere. I haven't really put any time into the game because I'm currently coop-ing Borderlands The Handsome Jack Collection.

Bless

I haven't played much single player, only played when first learning the controls, so not sure how good the AI really is. It's still fun from what I've played.

Multiplayer can be competitive for sure. Matchmaking seems pretty decent though, so if you are a rookie you should get paired with players of similar skill level.

Finished Ethan Carter... Meh. Unreal engine 4 is beautiful, the narrative / story here is a mess. Even the end is like a very poor M. Night Shamalyan film. Wish I could have my €18 back......

Is ZombiU actually a good game? It always seemed to me like its most prominent quality was being a WiiU launch title that wasn't completely uninteresting. But in all fairness, I have never played it.

I'm losing interest in South Park SoT. I love the humor and presentation, but the combat just bores me to death...and there is a lot of it. I'm sure I will play through it eventually, but it will be in small doses now and then.

Once you got into it, yeah Zombi U was an excellent survival horror with some genuine new things not seen in a game of this genre before. It was rough around the edges and was far from perfect, but it was a real grower.

It's brilliant. It's the closest to a classic Resident Evil games in terms of originality and fear that we're going to get. That plus the first person view makes it the scariest game I've played. But one of the big things with it was looking down at the gamepad to organise things, and then looking up to find a zombie in your face. That layer of horror was great so I'm worried it'll lose that on the other systems.
Would be nice if it supported the Vita on PS4 as a second remote, with the old gamepad stuff displayed there.

Yeah the bag inventory system with the wifi u pad screen and it not paused was one of the best features for tension.

I imagine they are going to do a picture in picture kind of thing now so that when you open your bag you see a split screen on your TV with the content from the inventory and the surroundings both on screen at once, with the game still live not paused.

Are you guys talking about this game?? I bought it about 2 years ago and never played it. Didn't know it was this good. Will start playing it tomorrow.

I guess I'm in the minority with this game. I played it for about 2 hours several months ago and haven't touched it since. I'm glad I only paid $10 for it.

Started up Bloodborne again after a long hiatus. Randomly tried the Cleric Beast, and beat it on the first try. Weird! Not really sure where to go from here, seems like Cleric Beast was just guarding a locked gate. Bummed around the sewers for a while, killed quite a lot of rats and creeping swimmer type jerks. Then I found a tunnel with a gigantic guinnea pig crawling my way. I had acquired quite a lot of blood echoes by that point, so I got scared and took off. Is this the way I need to go next?

EDIT: I also just learned that I messed up by attacking Eileen the Crow. No way to make her friendly again, it seems...

EDIT 2: What is the best weapons strategy? Stick with one and upgrade/fortify the hell out of it? Or get new weapons as soon as they're available? I have the saw cleaver thingy for now, and the "Kirkhammer" or some such just became available. Also, I have been leveling up vitality, strength and endurance. Is it a mistake to neglect the others? (What do they even do??)

My Nintendo Network ID does not work anymore. I think Nintendo banned me from using online services. But I don't understand why. Going to give Nintendo a call when they open. I'm so bummed :(

I must revisit. I haven't since I got stuck a couple months back. As for best weapon combo - I'm not sure as i got so stuck that what I thought was now a very powerful weapon earlier killing werewolves in two or three hits suddenly rendered utterly useless, like trying to hit a demon with a cotton bud....

I hope so but I think it's a bigger issue. I get error code 102-2802 along with a message that says "This Nintendo Network ID cannot be used". It won't even let me sign out, when I try to I get the same error code and message. Everything was working fine yesterday.
