Back to playing WoW. I was in a raiding guild in BC and WotLK but time constraints and feeling meh about the last 2 xpacs (especially the pandas) has led to me playing on and off. I'm really excited about the next xpac though and am debating trying to get into a real raiding guild again. Right now I'm just trying to get the rest of my chars to 90 and finishing achievements.

I'm really liking Hearthstone too, I've played it many days even when I'm not playing WoW. I think I kind of suck at it though =/

Console-wise I finally picked up a copy of Left 4 Dead and I don't know why it has taken me this long, since I've been in love with shooting zombies since the first RE. I tend to not play that many different games, I have small number that I just play a lot.

Finally beat Legend of Grimrock. Ugh, it started to get pretty hard, and the final confrontation was driving me crazy, but after probably 20 attempts I got through.

Now I'm on Bioshock Infinite (Hall of Heroes/Whores), and am enjoying it so far. I really enjoyed the first 2 on 360, and while I liked Rapture, Columbia is a nice (and colorful) change of scenery.

Playing World of Warcraft very casually and Star Wars - Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast thanks to Aspyr!

Also playing Quake 3 Arena using ioquake3 for OS X available here:

http://ioquake3.org/get-it/

Please note this requires you to own Quake III Arena in some form as you need original data files to go with the ioquake3 open source engine to legally play. You also need a valid CD key. The game is available to purchase on Steam currently for twenty bucks. I checked just now and found 232 servers running with players on them. :D

If you do get ioquake3, be sure to use ioquake3fe-1.36 to launch the game because it lets you set command line arguments and save them for your preferred screen resolution. I'm running it at 1440p and it looks pretty darn good for an oldie. The launcher I am mentioning comes with some saved settings already but if they don't have what you want you can duplicate a set, modify it (the changes to make are obvious when you see it) and save it under a new name for future use. I had to do that for my 1440p setting.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned CS: Global Offensive yet. Grew up on CS since the 1.5 days. I've also been getting into the recently-promoted semi-realistic FPS Insurgency. Free to play until 10am PDT tomorrow, but I'm definitely getting it before then. On sale for $7 and change? No brainer.

I've been pretty focused on RPGs lately. Currently playing Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2 and FFXIV: ARR.

I have gotten enamored with space ship building (creative mode) in Space Engineers. The real question will be what will I do after it is built? Maybe work on a space station. It will be interesting to see where this game takes us. :)

Find a dedicated thread here.

I've recently discovered two games that have monopolized all of my gaming time:

Divinity: Original Sin and State of Decay. The former is a fantastic RPG set in a fantasy world, involving a very dynamic (and co-op capable) character relationship system & extremely open-ended approaches to problem solving; the latter is possibly one of the best zombie apocalypse games I've ever played. It's also RPG-ish, in that you play multiple characters and level them up, but gameplay feels more like GTA. The need to scavenge for supplies, keep your group's morale in check, focus on multiple characters, etc... it's as close to playing "The Walking Dead" in an open-ended fashion (unlike, say, the Telltale version where it's a scripted story being told - also brilliant, but different) as I've ever seen.

I highly recommend both.

Other than those, Far Cry 3 and XCom: Enemy Unknown are frequently visited, and Skyrim gets a go now and again. The Stanley Parable is worth getting on sale just to experience.

Right now I'm playing a ton of Divinity Original Sin.
I just finished the Walking Dead series. (Except for Season 2, Episode 5)

I've also been playing Monaco and Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars.

hey day and candy crush
wanna play minecraft, but i dont have tablet, and it too small for an iphone screen:p

I tried to get into Legend of Grimrock, but the lack of keyboard support (!) killed the magic for me. I don't want to click everywhere and cast spells with little tile combos, each time to cast a spell. Yuk.

Yikes.

Thanks for the warning. I've been reading some good hype on this Grimrock game, and it's on sale just this week at Humble. But the lack of keyboard commands is a killer. So now, it's off my to-buy list.

The idea behind Grimrock was a later day Dungeon Master type clone which was a point and click game, hence the way the game plays.

Currently playing the beta of World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor.

At least until battle.net got a DDOS attack this evening.

Not before I made level 99 of 100 though !!

Finished Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast last night! Yay! It was awesome. Excellent port that ran like a charm. I really enjoyed it with the great light saber combat, force powers, a good story, the classic Star Wars music and sounds. Great stuff.

I'm in the mood for more Star Wars goodness so tonight I'm going to start playing Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

Still fooling around doing stuff to get ready for the expansion in WoW. Had enough Quake III for the time being so switching to Counter-Strike: Condition Zero to see if I can develop some CS skills so I don't get slaughtered playing CS:Source online in the future.

Splitting time between Starcraft II (finally), and dabbling in Marvel Heroes. However, waiting for a friend of mine to download Marvel Heroes so we can start to co-op. Don't really like playing those games solo.

Playing Skyrim again...with some mods:
- Unofficial Skyrim, Dawnguard, Dragonborn etc patches
- Improved mesh for sexy barrels and ropes
- 2K Textures pack (looks great)
- Improved water
- Improved flowers etc
- Argonian raptor feet

I was playing with the WiiU recently but I got a bit bored, up to the fetch quest in Wind Waker. Still have to play through Mario World though. I go through phases of PC/WiiU gaming.

I played Civilization like a fiend when it first came out. Tried a sequel and discovered I was burned out. A decade later (or more) it's on sale at Steam so I buy Civilization V and I'm hooked again! for a while at least. :p Available for PC and Mac. Current sale is over . You could buy the "complete" version for $16.

I've been playing so much Defiance lately. So many Defiance. All the Defiance really.

Sprinkling in a little Far Cry 3 in between.

I have fond memories of that game. On occasion I lament, the spell is broken. :)

Picked up Diablo III and Reaper of Souls last weekend for $40 total. Been playing that when the DDoS attacks aren't happening.
Was playing Hearthstone before that, but as a former (20 years ago) Magic: The Gathering player, it seems a little simplistic to me.

Mostly Europa Universalis IV on my new MacBook Air. And Diablo III - the perfect game to vent in after failing in Europa Universalis IV. But since I'm a masochist I'm kind of excited to do a hardcore seasons run...

Also, Mario Kart 8.
