When I'm alone I still game but not near as much as I used to.
Civ 4 (with mods)
Scrabble (online)

When I was in my 20's I used to do a lot of RTS's like Age of empires II LAN parties, but now I have slowed a bit in my 30's and can't keep up with that stuff. Over the last year I have been hooked on board games actually. So now with friends instead of video gaming we have put the consoles away in favor of some interesting board games I didn't know existed a year ago. So if anyone here is getting bored of the same old video games and wants a change of pace with your friends/family on the weekends I would highly recommend tabletop gaming. If your interested in what we play or what is out there just ask :)

lol I feel ya. That's me as well. I get my ass whipped my friends ask me to play Starcraft II or some other RTS. I don't know how I was able to play these things before. I was a huge C&C fan back in the day, and was pretty good. Now I have a hard time getting through campaigns in games of Starcraft II and the Dawn of War series.

I have been playing modern warfare3 & f12013, after some hardcore fps action, i kool off with some nice smooth race lines :D

Cheers & happy gaming..

Really started diggin in to Divinity this weekend. Unfortunately I had to use Cheat Engine and it started out innocently enough. There's a table that allows you to zoom out farther than stock. My biggest issue that caused me to seek a mod for that was that chat windows so often got in the way when having to position the mouse cursor far enough away from the group to make them run.

So after I fixxed that and started playing, Having to repair weapons after every other battle before they were destroyed was annoying as all get out. I don't mind weapon decay, but to have it to the point where you feel like you're going to have no weapons to fight with at any moment and no money to buy anything is ridiculous, so I got rid of weapon durability.

And I was getting my butt handed to me. Most fights I could down one or two mobs before my party was wiped out. I was a strong level three and everything else outside the gates is 6-7, so I temporarily enabled more action points so I at least stand a chance. I should probably go ahead and reroll though seeing as how melee is so week in this game compared to magic.

Not sure what mode you are playing in but there is no shame in playing on easy if playing the game at some other level is not fun. I do it all the time. I don't like zero challenge but I also do not like excessive reloads, raging, etc. So, just a suggestion you might consider.

Also, you probably already know this but I'd be wary of having cheat engine or anything like it installed on a system where you play VAC secured games if you do. I'm very paranoid about that stuff personally and won't go near it to guarantee me no issues. It's my understanding that just the presence of such software on a system is enough to trigger a VAC ban. Forgive me if I just told you something already obvious to you. I just figured better safe than sorry to mention it.

It is on easy. I figured I probably missed a few in town "talkie" missions and wanted to get in to some action, which I'm guessing is not what the devs planned on you doing since everything outside of town is 3-4 levels higher than you and with packs of 6+, they take you out pretty easy. I do like the system found in most modern games where death causes the decay and wouldn't even mind a lower decay rates, but right now the stock setting makes it not fun. Apparently pre-release in one of the betas, when you repaired it caused permanent damage to the weapon so that eventually it would break and be lost forever, but there were a lot of complaints about it so they just made it that you have to repair lots. I don't mind the character management and the RP elements, but when a game makes you constantly running in and out of menus all the time, it loses it's appeal.

And I've read that other mods make the game give you a pop up warning you that you can't play online, which is fine. I've never played this type of isometric 3/4 RPG online and don't plan on it. It's turning out to be a great single player game once I made the tweaks, but otherwise if I did get the notion to play online, I'd not use CE. Playing competitively, and even co-op, with an advantage over everyone else that you didn't earn kills the fun of things. That's why I'm so against pay-2-win games.

Yes, that is the case for getting out of town. I was reading a review of the game the other day and the reviewer said that you have to exhaust all the town quests (mostly talking ones but not only that) before getting out of town, as the enemies there are higher level.

Generally, that's the status throughout the entire game, and it is considered one of its positive features (which I also agree). That is, the environment itself gives you hints of whether you should be in an area or you should move back a bit and get some levels first.

Same, built my first gaming PC a while ago and I'm absolutely hooked on this.

Picked up Arma 2 in the steam sales so I'm gonna give the mod a try at some point.

Other than that I'm playing BF3 (it was free) and re-playing some of my xbox 360 games like skyrim and far cry 3.

Oh and black mesa :D

hey mate... now i turned to arma 2 dayz epoch too... little laggy but awesome sandbox gaming... **** off standalone... wasted money.

I just started playing Arma 3 and am frustrated. Not concise, unfocused, big sprawling maps time sink. I'll give it more time. It might be user issues and unfamiliarity. :p Most disappointing is there does not seem to be a coop campaign mode.

Any ideas of a name?
There was a game in the early 90s, an online modern warfare type of game. One of the primary maps was an island, you spawned on the beach, made your way into a couple of control points, and whichever team controlled both control points won the battle. The parent company sponsored online servers and you could lease servers if you wanted to. You could crawl through the grass, snipe and there were vehicles, jeeps, including helos. I had fond memories of that one and it was good because the fighting was more focused.

Feb 2016- Currently am completely focused on ARK: Survival Evolved, Armored Warfare, and Subnautica. I was briefly playing Fallout 4 and plan on getting back to it soon.

I started a new Mass Effect-series playthrough a couple of weeks back. Currently working my way through ME3, just finished Tuchanka.

Bouncing between a couple Lego™ games, FFXIV occasionally and WoW Legion Alpha, all assuming Ive got downtime!

Playing Crashlands on my Mac and iPad. It's nice how it cloud syncs between computer and tablet so I can take my current game on the go. I gave up on XCOM 2 until it's less broken. :D

Currently play Xcom2, Dota 2, Rocket League, WOW, Squad, Hurtworld. Love the mac pro, think its time to upgrade my GPU to the 970x from MVC and a CPU upgrade.

Playing WoW and a bit of Heroes of the Storm at the moment.
LoL is being boring.

I'm waiting for Overwatch mainly :D
I want to play more of Rise of the Tomb Raider when I can upgrade my iMac.

I'm playing, Assassin's Creed Unity on PS4 and I have Uncharted Collection, Assassin's Creed Syndicate on my list. I'm patiently waiting for Tomb Raider 2 to be available on PS4.

On desktop, I play Football Manager.

Through the help of my nephew, discovered Smite a MOBA on Steam which provides a different feel than Heros of the Storm. It's arena play mode is very entertaining. This game is free to play if you don't mind playing characters available through rotation. Unfortunately no Mac version. For Mac, it would have to be HOTS.

Playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut, thanks to the Square Enix sale on Steam this weekend. Just €4,99.

Also picked up Just Cause 2 for €3,74 whilst I was at it.

Been going through Assassin's Creed II thanks to Xbox Games with Gold and Xbox One backwards compatibility. It's a pretty fun game that I think holds up well (haven't played any other games in the series so not sure how it's evolved since then.)

It's really interesting that my main reaction going back to a last-gen game now is how "muddy" they tend to look.
