The 14PM may be slightly brighter, but not by much. Both are a little bit brighter than my Mini 6 when viewing the same photo under the same conditions.
the m1 ipad is rated at 600 nits for sdr, iPad mini 500, and 14 pm is 1000nits so in theory it should be twice as bright as your iPad mini

I just did the same side-by-side in a dark room - my previous compare was in a well-lit room (natural lighting). In a dark room, the 14PM is definitely brighter; not dazzlingly so, but clearly brighter. Color consistency is very good.

is there any way you can snap a picture of your 14 pro side by side with your m1 iPad for comparison? I'm generally curious to see what a good display actually looks like

Here's an attempt (not easy taking photos of displays) -

I got a 14 plus and I love it. My favourite phone after the blue XR. The battery is amazing. I’m enjoying the extra real estate having previously had the 6.1” phones.

I thought I’d take a while to get used to the plus but I really didn’t. There’s nothing I don’t live about it.

I’m really enjoying the 14 Pro. I skipped the 13 pro and upgraded from the 12 Pro (first time I’ve skipped a generation since starting with the 5) and it’s a great upgrade. I really have no complaints.

hows the display quality?

It’s perfectly fine, maybe a little warm but otherwise not bad at all. However take my opinion with a grain of salt cause I’m no display expert and have a hard time seeing a huge difference between 120hz and 60hz.

As a yearly upgrader, I made the switch from the regular sized 13 Pro to the 14 Pro Max this year and I am still thrilled.
Really great phone, stunning display (the brightness outdoors with auto brightness enabled is INSANE!), tremendous batterylife, could not be happier.

And even the weight and size are no problem at all! I am still asking myself, why I refused to go Max-size so long (had the 11 Pro, 12 Pro and 13 Pro in their small sized versions before). o_O

How is your display stunning mjne is awful

Great so far. I moved from a 13PM and when I ordered the 14 Pro I expected to be returning it for a PM shortly afterwards but I’ve loved it so far

Genuine question, why are you constantly asking the exact same question across multiple (dozens) posts, getting the same answers? What do you hope to achieve? You clearly are not happy with your display, why don't you just take it up with Apple until they sort it out. Nobody here can help you. You have been told literally dozens of times the exact same thing, that their displays are fine. You must have nearly 100 posts on the exact same subject. You must be driving yourself mad!

Bought an iPhone 14PM from the Apple Store a few days ago for my GF. Noticed the top half of the screen creaks or such when pressing it. Figured it might be the screen protector so removed that to no avail. It doesn’t seem to bother her so might as well keep it or may even return it.

iPhone 14 Pro 128GB Space Black. One week of use.

Until now, absolutely flawless. Battery could be better but it is still early to tell.

The phone is beautiful.
