Im happy with my 13 P Max, first year since 6S I haven't upgraded yearly.

My mom HATED her 13 after being 'forced' to upgrade from a 12. She's -delighted- with 14 pro.
It "charges faster and easier". Placebo effect is a strange thing.

I went from a X to the 14 Pro, gave my X to my wife. I like the 14 Pro. The only thing I don’t like about it so far is the fact that you can’t set the Always On Display (AOD) to always stay on. Only Apple could have a feature called an ALWAYS On Display that you can set to be always off but you can’t set to actually be always on…🤣

Pretty bad…gone through 4 iPhone 14 pro max :
1st) had dust under the camera
2nd) exhibits screen discoloration/orange tint around the perimeter at 10% and below brightness
3rd) had a dead pixel(only visible with red colors tho)
4th) had a dead pixel(this time with blue colors).
Also gone through 2 14 pros….
1st) glass back was scratched out of the box
2nd) camera lens was scratched out of the box.
Apple’s quality control kinda sucks for the money they’re asking for these iPhones…

Just out of curiosity, do these models attract lint on the inside of the lightning port?

My 13 mini lightning port constantly gets filled with lint but I keep my phone in my pocket most of the time when I’m not home.

Reason asking, that the 14 pro/pro max series are made of stainless steel as opposed to the aluminum frame that the mini has.

So maybe the stainless steel frame phones don’t attract lint that much. But correct me if I’m wrong.

Excellent overall. I came from an XS and the most noticeable improvements for me have been the more fluid display and drastically improved battery life. I also like the visual design better than nearly all past models.

I'm happy with the Plus. I probably could have bought the Pro or Pro Max but I was coming back from Android and didn't want to wait for a new phone, not to mention pay over a grand for one.

How many hours of battery have you been getting?

I just took it

It’s perfectly fine, maybe a little warm but otherwise not bad at all. However take my opinion with a grain of salt cause I’m no display expert and have a hard time seeing a huge difference between 120hz and 60hz.

That’s because they hardly use it. Just a slit second swiping and such, then to 80Hz (not 90Hz like on Android) and back to 60. They could hold the 120 but for some reason they don’t.

My xs max display is noticeably cooler (and thus more punchy) than the 14 pro max display. I wish Apple would provide a white balance slider so we could fine tune the display to our preference. The accessibility colour filters lowest intensity is not zero set, more like 25% which unless you have a *very* warm display is just too strong.

That said, my 14 pro max display is a bit cooler than the average 11 pro max and a lot cooler than the average 12 pro max. Thus, I’ve been able to get used to it.

Also, it’s slightly cooler than the 14 plus I tried.

Do you have pics of your display?
