It honestly wouldn't bother me. If it's in the same form factor as the 5S, then I may just pass on it. But I really don't think I would be disappointed. I'm also one of the few that is happy with the 4" screen of the 5/5S.

What if, the iPhone6 stays at 4.0" with improvements on camera, RAM and processor  What if, Apple trolled everyone by releasing various fake leaks leading everyone to believe a bigger iPhone is coming. What ifs. . .

What will be your reaction? :D

Goodbye Apple .. Hello Android or Windows:D

I would be fine with that. I probably prefer it.

Same here. I'm personally really happy with a 4" screen for my phone. 4.7" would be nice if it's still reasonably small, body-wise, but I have no problem with the 6 being 4", or being available in 4" as well.

I'd be pissed and depending on ios 8 I would possibly think of jumping ship but not likely to do so since I also have an iPad and Mac book

It's all well and good to say you'll jump ship and all that. But take it from someone who did just that. The island you're jumping ship for is a desert of crappy phones, pathetic tablets, and Steve Ballmer laughing maniacally in the distance. Stick with your Apple gear and put away the soapbox. It's the way cheaper option.

Personally, I would jump for joy! :)

The 4" form factor is perfect for me and I hope they stay with it at least 2 more years (4 years total) like they did with the earlier 3, 3gs, 4, 4s. I dislike phones which are so big you are forced to use two hands like a neanderthal.

Just got a mental picture of a Neanderthal using a smartphone. Comedy ensues.

If it were half thickness, double battery life, and zero bezels I'd pay $2000 for it.

your post is worthless, seems like your just trying to make a post and see how many posts you can get.

I'm confused, you don't seem to understand the concept of forums.

Apparently quite some people found this topic worthwhile participating in, in some sense you too apparently. But you don't like it, can you explain why?
And don't explain it with what forums are made for.

Yes, he wanted to get a lot of responses, guess what, that's what forums are for: getting feedback/communicating/etc...

I see your point is that you think all he/she wanted is a lot of responses to "BS" - aka trolling, but I don't really see that.
I think we can all agree that it's as obvious as it gets without an announcement now that iPhone 6 will have more than 4" to offer, but I think it's perfectly legitimate to discuss "what if" scenarios, it can be quite interesting.
If that's not your cup of care fine.

I hope the next iphone is 4.7 if not I'm going to keep my iphone 5s till next year.

Foxconn have confirmed there are making two sized models, a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch so there's no point in even talking about it.

We are seeing larger iPhones this year.

Foxconn have confirmed bubkes. The day they confirm anything Apple related is the day they say they don't want Apples business anymore.

I'm planning on coming back to iPhone. The only things holding me back were third party keyboards and the rumored larger screen.

I don't think there's any chance it'll remain 4.0, but if for some reason it did, I'll put the breaks on my return immediately. I think they'll continue selling the 4" 5s but not give it any further updates.

What if it was indeed a 4.7?

What if it was a 5.5?

What if, what if, what if?

I need me a

This would likely be my reaction as well as my i5 is in fantastic condition. But I also fully anticipate, and desire, a larger iPhone in September.

Funny thing: Mine is also in a pretty good condition and as I started to exchange batteries myself a could see myself using it for another 2 years. That leads me to the conclusion that I probably would neither buy a bigger iphone nor a 5S (to small step for an upgrade).

So to OPs Question: As my contract runs out I would certainly buy a 4" immediately :)

It wouldn't bother me... I'm looking at keeping my 5C another year and getting the iPhone 6S or 7 depending on what they call it.

But I think it would be disappointing though and I think Apple may loose some customers who have been drooling over the rumors of a 4.7+ inch iphone...

I think we are past the point of WHAT IF...

****We KNOW the iPhone 6 is going to be larger

Probably...no definitely wouldn't effect me as I'll be one year into a 2 year contract. Plus the size of the iPhone is just right for my less than large hands lol!

Wouldn't bother me too much. I enjoy the 4" form factor a lot. Thought I think it's time to give a try for 4.7" this fall. ;)

Many people I know back when there was still iPhone4 and iPhone4s told me the reason the iPhone was 4" is because Apple believe 4" is the right size to be able to control with one hand. Why would Apple be considering larger screen now? Do our hands get bigger?

Peoples demand for a larger screen got bigger.
