For me it's all about going away from black to natural, or staying with black.
I really like natural titanium but I do fear to have an bright outline around the phone (even with cases). Earlier iPhones always showed this small outline. I think it's still the same.

I went with the White PM this year in 256. This will be my first white iPhone since the iPhone 4 LOL.

They went hard on the white color this year it's bright and cold which is how I want that color to be. Wouldn't mind a little flare around the bezel and screen too in form of a little silver bling (less blingy than SS) after having black 14PM.
It reminds me of the iPod era Apple

LOL I get that question, too, and it's annoying. But I'm going from a pink iPhone 15 Plus, to a white 16PM... it's going to be noticeable - from 2 cameras to 3 and the color. But whatever. My money, my decision how I want to spend it. Let me live! 🤣

I would have seriously considered Teal, feels like a phone from the 80's, I think I would have done it! Pink even looks cool actually, like a cool Hot Wheels muscle car I had in the 70's, but in the end it's back in black for me.
Last few phones have been Midnight Green 11 Pro, 13 Pro Black, 14 Pro Purple, 15 Pro Max NattyTi and now the same in the 16 Pro Max.
Best 2 phones by a mile both color and experience were the 11 Pro and the 15 Pro Max. I love purple and was excited when it was confirmed for the 14 Pro, but the color and the phone both sucked and were a major disappointment. 15 made up for that phone.
I went crazy getting titanium EDC and watches to match, so maybe after 2 phones and 2 years of NattyTi I hope there is an epic color choice next year. Deseret Ti is not for me. Maybe a legit copper (as I already have some copper EDC), but who knows what apple is planning.
Natural to desert titanium. Upgrading to 512gb this year. Gonna try this color hope I can find good cases.

1TB Pro Max Black or Desert if I had to pick, will need to see desert in person first though. Really wish it came in more colors. Fingers crossed for a 2025 March update with a new color, maybe then I will upgrade.
Nah it reminds me of my old XS Max which was the prettiest phone I've ever owned imo.
