but I never intended to buy the 7. I was 100% happy with my 6 until it started to randomly shut down. Apple said the battery was 90% capacity and blamed it on an app. Tried every trick I could to get it working normally but then I had to break down and by the 7. Otherwise I'd be upgrading from 6. Feel a bit guilty since my 7 will be just a year old in a couple weeks but I've been waiting for the X since the first rumors before the 7 was even released.

Not replacing an iPhone. My SE is unlocked but I don't use it as a daily driver. The X will replace my unlocked LG G5 which isn't even a month old yet (Oct 6). Well, I did start using G5 back in Feb on Michael Jordan's birthday.
If I go to Verizon, I'm worried if my G5 won't work because of 3G bands. And losing tethering. So I may end up keeping my Androids at home. More for pleasure. Then use the iPhones for work. I use holster cases for them.

Galaxy S7 Edge. Biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Software is the problem, not the hardware.

If we had the IUP up here, there's a lot of people that would swap out their phones every year. 🙂
But, back on topic - upgrading from my 64GB 6s.

I was lucky and was able to preorder using the Apple Store App. Silver 256Gb iPhone X will be replacing a 3 year old 128Gb Silver iPhone 6+. I was also able to set up the iPhone Upgrade Program, so if I want to, I can upgrade every year, as long as equivalent of 12 payments have been made. I"M SO EXCITED 😀!
I did iUP because I would rather give $ to Apple then to any carrier.

64GB 6SPlus bought used off of Swappa couple years ago. Fell off the bookshelf about 6 weeks ago and has been abysmal since. Even with replaced screen, it freezes, cant hang up phone button many times, battery has to be recharged every few hours or it goes right to zero. I was waiting and waiting for the X, this my first launch. So fun. I work in a cat shelter and we use our phones for all cat pictures to post online, so I am very excited to use the camera. The touchID on this 6s+ almost never works, so I am so happy to have face ID. CAN"T WAIT!!
