Jet black 256GB iPhone 7.

I’m going to miss this phone; I love the finish especially, but I’m really excited for the dual lens cameras and OIS! And I’m really excited to see how Face ID works.

7+ 128 GB RG....I normally upgrade every other year but I knew I wanted the X or whatever they were going to call it so I changed my NEXT plan so I could upgrade in one year. I will probably go back to every other year after this phone. 🙂

Both my wife and I are upgrading our standard 6 16GB models with 256GB versions of the X.

They have been amazing, completely trouble-free devices over the last 3 years, and still work reasonably well, but we are very much looking forward to the jump in performance/features/STORAGE. With the kids growing up, it will be nice to not have to migrate pictures off the phone so frequently (I don't particularly like iCloud backups) or be so judicious with our app selection/use.

We will be selling one of our 6 models and keeping the other as an emergency backup.

8 Plus 64GB going to the Space grey 64GB X. My intention was to keep the 8+ and not upgrade. But being such an impulsive person, I couldn’t help myself.

iPhone 6 Plus 16GB. This will be a huge upgrade for me as I'm getting the 256GB model. FaceID will also be a huge boon as TouchID often doesn't work for me (works fine on my MacBook Pro, just not my particular phone).

iPhone 6S, 128GB. As good a phone as it has been, I am now on my second replacement since purchasing on launch day in 2015. The first replacement was in Jan of this year due to the battery defect/early shut off issue. Then this past week, while I was browsing on safari, the phone began to heat up and then the screen went out. Took it to Apple Store and they tried replacing the screen but the phone still would not turn on, so that meant replacement phone number 2.

Fortunately, since I never got a Plus version of a phone, I won't miss anything when it comes to screen size when going to the X. I will only gain.

Replacing a 16GB 5s. I would have kept the 5s at least another year if I’d bought a higher capacity one in 2014. Still perfect condition.
