2011 Jetta Sportwagon TDI with Standard Gearstick and Glassroof.

When I asked what color would be best my girlfriend said:"on this car no color looks good"

So I ordered Toffeebrown with Beige Leatherette Interior:D

Quite happy with it so far. No issues, good gas mileage and I can load two surfboards and two mountainbikes at the same time.

Hopefully, the one I have on order (delivery due mid-May) .... Cooper SD with Chili, Sports and Media packs, black leather and panoramic sunroof .... can't wait!

TDIs get amazing gas mileage, they never use a drop of gas ;)

I've had a few that I really liked. I guess highlights so far:

1. 1995 Mazda Miata R-package - a street-legal go-kart
2. 2012 Subaru WRX with a tune - dear BMW-driving d-bags, unless you have a new M3 your ass is mine!
3. 2000 Acura Integra GS-R sedan - practical, reliable, fun, awesome

I still own the first 2.

Best car I've owned is my newest one, as I haven't had it long enough to have had any major problems. Now, if I didn't hold on to my cars for 10-12 years, and instead traded them in after 3-5 years, I wouldn't have had major problems with any of them.

'84 4Runner, 346k, still use as daily driver over my 06 type s. Go anywhere, always runs.

Does your state require front plates? You should look into the possibility of getting Euro plates... they look much better on cars when you are required to run front plates imo.

Faultlessly reliable, fantastic fuel consumption and quick enough to annoy BMW drivers when the mood suits.

Yeah I agree euro tags are cool.

however I would just use a euro-designed tag, except with US states. You can pretty much buy them customized, so you can put your real tag number. It'll look a little less corny imo (unless you really wanted a specific european country)

Here are some examples.

They've even got simple USA tags available with the NATO logo which i think are also very cool

Had "Wild Thing" on the front fender, and a dancing "Snoopy" on the
Passenger vent window. Had a back seat you could lay down in;), if you get my drift:eek:

Ooh, so it was great on long journeys when you needed a nap!

I never thought I'd get over my totaled 2009 335i but my 2011 M3 has changed my mind.

Before that, oddly enough I loved my little 1999 Civic coupe. I could fit it anywhere, good on fuel economy and inconspicuous.

Why would you put a random Euro plate on a Japanese truck? That would just look odd. Besides, putting a random Euro plate isn't going to satisfy the law of having a front plate...the front plate actually has to be relevant to the state's laws, meaning the plate issued by the state, not just whatever random plate one feels like.

They do make the euro style plates state specific and you can get your rear license plate number custom on the euro plate. I guess it would depend on the lagality of this in your specific state and the dick-ness of the particular cop giving the ticket

Too fast around the turns in the rain?

That woulda been a cool story right? haha no I was turning left into a plaza and waited for oncoming traffic to pass. Some lady in a Toyota Sequoia waved for me to go ahead. Stupid me went without checking and bam....I got hit by a car coming at 45mph. :(
