I bought a new iPad Pro 10.5 in 2017 after about a year of having it I left it on top of my car and drove off.... it inevitably fell off and got damaged: couple of dents on the edge and a crack that seems to be under the screen which has caused what I can only describe as an ink spillage (pictures attached). Apart from those bits everything else works: all buttons, camera, charging port, screen still functions and the speakers are all good.

I don’t want to risk trying to replace the screen myself and Apple don’t offer it. So, could someone please tell me what my best option is for getting some money for it? Do I go into the Apple store and see if they will give me credit? Or try my luck on EBay? Or something else.

FYI - I would like to buy a new IPad once I figure out the best option for this current one.

thanks in advance.

I genuinely thought you spilled ink on your iPad at first.

Try out local repair shops to get the screen changed. That’s not a slight issue though.
