What is the worst movie you ever watched?

Yes they did!!!
I assume you liked the original.

I liked the first The Crow (1994) although the movie was very dark and surrounded by the tragic accidental death of Brandon Lee. If not mistaken they used miniatures to display the flyovers of the city. I read that because of Brandon Lee’s accidental death during shooting of the film, that the film was dropped by the original studio and picked up by Miramax, even though they used a body double, and spent $8m in CGI to complete his scenes.

I really like the original. I have read the list you brought up before, or one that was very similar. The miniatures don't hold up though.

One thing I have been wanting to do, but just haven't gotten around to it, is actually reading the comic. It is on my to read list though.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence. Dear lord it was AWFUL!

Star Wars episodes I, II, and III

Kids. Disgusting film. Watching it you just want everyone in it to be crushed by a building somehow.

I like A.I., thought it was intriguing but sad, one vision of a future, an interesting portrayal of A.I and humanities reaction to it. Of course I am intrigued by most A.I. stories, started a thread about it and wonder at some point of development in the future, wonder what will be the difference between biological and machine based intelligence. ;)

I always felt that was a very powerful film which chillingly illustrates the dangers of HIV. Not a regular watch though by any stretch.

The bolded part rings true for practically any Larry Clark film. Sure, there's a lot of violence, nudity and other transgressive things going on, but ultimately they do tell stories. Not stories that are easy to stomach, but stories nonetheless. Whether one likes to watch such stories, though, is another matter.

Personally I think Bully is his best film. Not easy to watch, with little or no characters you actually connect with, but even so, an intriguing film.

Gigantic. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1176251/

"A mattress salesman finds his plan to adopt a Chinese baby augmented by the arrival of a young woman, who comes into his workplace, falls asleep on one of the beds, and starts to affect his life upon waking up."
Oh my goodness, this is such a uniquely bad movie. OOoof. Thanks for reminding me of this one :)

“crash”
... which one :)

I saw the Cronenberg one for the first time recently and found it extremely compelling, mature. Not for everyone, but miles better than what Haggis tried to do.

Not one mention of Ishtar so far. Unbelievable. So very bad.

I saw this last summer and it wasn't as bad as I'd heard, but also far from great. The humor is ridiculous- and I can't believe its getting a reevaluation by people. I chalk that up to Elaine May, who is a very talented writer (she's better than what this film has though!)

Worst movie I ever watched? Oh that's easy!

Suicide Squad!

Terrible nonsensical storyline that made no sense, the joker is a literal cuck void of any cool factor, I watched it with my ex who I broke up with about a week later, and the humor was god awful! It was a movie full of vapid memes.

A Czech film from 1967,The end of August at the ozone hotel. It was a huge internal battle for me to keep from walking out before the end. From Imdb:
"A troupe of young women on post-apocalyptic earth are lead around by a mistress born before the war, eventually stumbling into the company of a lonely old man." And it's way more boring than it sounds. Here are a few wonderful scenes from the cinematic masterpiece:
  • A dog is shot and wounded, and is shown whimpering and struggling before being clubbed in the head.
  • A cow is shot and then a group of women graphically butcher the still twitching carcass.
  • A woman is seen twisting the head off a snake. She appears to enjoy doing this and torments another woman with the snake's body, afterwards her trousers are shown to be stained dark around the crotch area.
  • The best thing I can say about it is it is "only" 77 minutes long, even though it seems like 6 hours.
Now what do I win?
