What is your 16" MBP delivery date?

Just got an email confirming my AppleCare+ coverage - with serial number and an end date of November 27 2022.
With a due to arrive date of Dec 3rd is this normal for coverage to be set a few days before or am I reading too much into this / being over optimistic that this Nov 27th is a hint at what my delivery date could speed up to? 🤔

Ordered Nov 18...shipped today! Still shows Dec 5 pickup date at the store. Hope that changes.
MAXed out MBP, including 8TB SSD (no more dragging around external SSDs, for awhile).

Delivery just got moved up to Nov 29, black Friday. Now if it could just move a couple days more! 😵

Apple underpromised on my order (2.4Ghz, 8-core i9, 16GM RAM), which I put in 11/15, with ship to store date of 12/4. It came in yesterday, 11/22. Good luck, all!

Apple care normally started the day you switch on and the ‘item’ talks to the Apple servers.

this happened to my iPhone 11. Delivered to my home 2 wks b4 I got my hands on it. Applecare started the day I switched on and the end date is seeable iOS settings/General/About. So I am thinking there must be a segment someplace in macOS that states the same.

mid in doubt, call AppleCare and ask them to reset. I’ve done that before has not been a problem

Ordered mine today November 24 in a base configuration: 2.3 gHz i9, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD. Home (near Boston) delivery promised in 2 days, for November 26.

Apple says it delivers on Friday Nov 29th. However, FedEx says it will be delivered on Monday December 2nd.

I did that, it still says processing and delivery date hasn't changed, 12/2-12/4.

Mine was stuck in customs clearance for four days... so instead of using this my trip next week, it'll have to wait.

My delivery date actually got pushed back four days.

Wow what a pleasant surprise. Mine said Wednesday, then it got bumped to Tuesday (even said Tuesday when I checked the UPS status this morning), and then, all of the sudden, the doorbell just rang and the UPS guy had my MacBook in his hands!
(This is my first MacRumors post with my new 16 inch ☺️). I LOVE IT already. The speakers are phenomenal!

EDIT: ordered 11/24 at 9AM EST, on 11/26 changed to "preparing to ship"

EDIT 2: 11/27 got the 'shipped' email and credit card charged. New delivery date 12/4

I've typically found Apple to be correct in the shipping times. Don't be surprised if you see FedEx update their delivery date to the 29th.
